My main responsibility was to cook an assortment of foods such as eggs, pancakes, hamburgers, chicken and steak to order. I was also responsible for prep work which included preparing batters, sauces, and portioning. I was also responsible for general cleaning of kitchen area and food preparation area, and restocking kitchen supplies while rotating and properly labeling. I also unloaded delivery trucks and put away the order in the proper fashion.

I began working as a Prep Cook, where responsibilities included preparing batters, sauces, fillings and syrups, a slicing meat such as turkey and ham. I was also responsible for truck deliveries, properly stocking the new deliveries. Also performed general cleaning of the prep area. As a Line Cook, I was responsible for cooking food such omelettes, eggs, crepes, pancakes, waffles, sandwiches and burgers in a timely fashion. My other duties included general cleaning of the kitchen, and training new cooks.

The main responsibility was preparing sandwiches to order. Baking bread as needed, and prepping the proper amount of vegetables and meat needed for the day. Also required cleaning of the entire restaurant, including the dining room, back of the house, and the line including equipment such as the oven. Customer service was heavily involved with cashing out customers, greeting them when they enter the store, and listening to their order to make their perfect sandwich. I was also a key holder responsible for opening and closing the store. Responsible for shutting all equipment down, counts of inventory, and making sure the cash register and safe were at the proper amount.
