There once lived a young girl who loved horses. Her name was Julia Brans and she was 11 years old. She lived in Memphis, Tennessee on a her fathers farm and they owned 7 horses. But they were working horses and her father didn't let her play or ride them. The only thing he did let her do was name them. There names were Faith, Brownie, Lightning, Winter, Cabot, Gracie, and Trusty. Julia loved all her horses, but her most favorite horse out of all them, had to be Winter. At any time possible she could spend time with Winter she took the chance. Julia could tell that Winter loved her just as much as she did and she loved that felling a lot. One day on a beautiful spring evening Julia's Dad told her to go clean the horses stalls and do all of her other chores as well. Julia was surprised and asked why. "Because I have to bring 2 chickens that were terribly sick to the Vet right away." Right after Julia's father left she was so happy and excited, her Dad never let her stay at the barn by herself and she was going to take advantage of it. "Yes, yes, yes! I finally get to ride Winter!" Julia had been taking lessons with her her Aunt who also owns a farm. She quickly got Winter's saddle then bridle and jumped on his back. While riding Winter the fresh air hit against her face but she didn't mind, as long as she was with her most favorite thing in the whole world, Winter.
