Exposition- the introduction of main characters, settings, and initial conflicts

geogaphical {which includes the location in which a story takes place.
chronological {which includes the time periods in which a story takes place
Conflicts are the struggles between the opposing forces in a story. {a conflict can involve a character's internal struggles or external struggles with other characters
Rising action- include the series of events that build the plot toward its climax, or peak point of interest.



Climax- is the defining moment in a story and marks a turning point in terms of the action.




Falling action- it is at this point that the charaters see the result of their actions , and the events of thr story begin to wrap up.



Denouement- or the resoultion, is the outcome of a story , or how the plot tie together.



Symbolism- something that represents something else. something concrete that stands for something abstract.

Simile- makes direct comparison between unlikely objects by using the word "like"or "as".



Personfiaction-- a writer who gies human characteristics to inhumane objects and animals is using personfication.
