Why can't you focus on this message. This message is beautiful. This is inspiring. It's important to understand that it is ok to be who you are and not be ashamed of it. (Although, I want to point out that you seem a bit narrow minded that butches can only love femmes. This is a joke as it perpetuates a narrow minded view of love based on the hetersexual stereotype that masculine must be balanced by feminine.) Why can't you show this same love and acceptance and openness for all of the lgbTTTTTTT community. I understand that you felt pressured to change your body, that you were made to feel ashamed, and that your society told you that you had to be male to be with women. That's disgusting and awful and I feel sorry for you. But that is not the world we live in today. It has never been more acceptable for a person to be gay or lesbian and it keeps getting better every day. And people still wish to be trans. It has nothing to do with society, it has nothing to do with sexuality, and it has nothing to do with sex. It is a state of being that is born in the mind that the gender you are recognized as by society is not the same as the gender you feel you were meant to be. Moreover, your definition of trans is strictly transsexual when this is clearly not the case. Trans includes transgender, and transgender does not specify a desire to physically change one's body. Many transgender men and women are very happy to keep their bodies they way they are but to take on the characteristics, dress, and name of the opposite sex. You should look deeper, beyond your own experiences, and see that trans people are being discriminated against just as you once were and that they need positive, loving role models as well.
