★ Essay Horcrux — Kalung Salazar Slytherin ★
Kalung Slytherin, dulunya kalung ini milik Salazar Slytherin salah satu pembangun sekolah sihir Hogwarts. Salazar menurunkan kalung ini ke anak cucunya, hingga sampai ke ibu Voldemort (Merope Gaunt). Alkisah, Merope yang hamil tua dan ditinggalkan suaminya, berniat menjual kalung ini untuk memenuhi kebutuhannya. Alhasil kalung ini cuma laku 10 galleon. Padahal, kalung ini harganya tidak ternilai, karena sebuah pusaka turun temurun.
Dan turun-temurun sampai kalung tersebut ditemukan oleh seseorang yang bernama R.A.B atau Regulus Arcturus Black. Regulus lalu mengganti kalung itu dengan kalung palsu dan menempatkan kalung palsu di tempat yang sama dengan kalung yang asli. Kalung palsu itu didapatkan Harry bersama Dumbledore di gua pinggir laut yang tersembuyi.
Harry, Ron dan Hermione mencari liontin Salazar Slytherin kembali. Dan mendapatkan informasi bahwa liontin itu ada pada Dolores Umbridge. Harry, Ron dan Hermione masing-masing menyamarkan diri sebagai salah satu anggota Kementerian Sihir. Lalu Harry, Ron dan Hermione berhasil mendapatkan liontin itu dari leher Dolores Umbridge. Karena Kementeganyarian Sihir telah jatuh di tangan musuh, mereka pun mencari tempat lain untuk berlindung sekaligus tempat untuk menghancurkan liontin tersebut. Liontin tersebut tidak bisa di hancurkan dengan mantra apapun. Akhirnya, Ron menghancurkan liontin tersebut dengan pedang Godric Gryffindor.
