Notes - notes.io

I am a sophomore at a California early college high school, and this is my first year in the program. I have a 4.0 unweighted 10-12 GPA; I'm not sure what my weighted GPA is because my college course grades are computed at the end of the school year, although I did get A's on the ones that I took in the fall and winter terms. I don't know what my class rank is either, but I'm probably in the top 10%, which isn't saying much as there are only 30 students in my grade. I scored 1370 on the PSAT/NMSQT, which is 99th percentile and the highest in the class. I will have completed around 100 college units by the time I graduate, and if the timings for the higher level math and physics courses, which are often only offered at one time, don't conflict with each other or my high school classes, I will have associate's degrees in math, engineering, and physics by the time I graduate high school, and will have also completed the transfer requirements for the EECS major. I'm the class president and have a good chance of getting re-elected next year at least. As president, I focus on helping students make the most of their experience at this program, which is somewhat selective, but I don't know the specifics. I co-founded a STEAM club this year with a friend, which is more for fun than technical; most of us are more into science experiments than guest speakers and whatnot. I started tutoring a few weeks ago and intend to continue it until I graduate, which will earn me well over 200 volunteer hours. I've been coding on and off since 3rd grade, but I know that I'm nowhere near as proficient as most other applicants will be.

The demanding nature of my college classes (I'm taking 15 units this semester, plus one academic high school class) makes it so that I probably won't be able to hold an internship or job, even over the summer. At the moment, I don't intend to enter any math, science, or technology competitions. I participated in the AMC in my freshman year, but I was only in geometry, so I didn't understand many of the problems. My score was the exact average score. However, I did not prepare for the test at all, and would probably do better if I entered a similar competition. I'll probably take SAT subject tests for math, physics, and maybe French, as I grew up in Canada and hold dual citizenship. I really like learning languages; I speak four but am most fluent in English. I think that this is a quality that may set me apart from other applicants. I switched schools a lot for my dad's job; this is my fourth school in as many years, but I've always gotten A's in everything except for PE, which I got a few B's in. Considering the extremely low acceptance rate of EECS (I heard it's less than 6%?), if I continue along the same lines, what chance do I have at being admitted? What can I do to improve these chances?
