Aconite Fluid was either a potion or a fluid extracted from the plant Aconite (a very simple potion that is truly just water infused with Aconite). The Hogwarts Apothecary Department kept a batch of this fluid in its stores.
While it's typically an ingredient in other potions Aconite Fluid can be sipped to help relieve pain, as a diuretic, heart sedative, and to induce sweating.
Ingredients:
• 1 part Aconite
• 3 parts Standard Potioning Water
The Steps of Making Aconite Fluid:
• Bring Potioning Water to boil in cauldron.
• Add Aconite.
• Steep on a low boil for 10 minutes.
• Transfer all into phial.
• Let cool and store.

Duration/Shelf Life: — / 1 year
Embarrassing Failure:
• Potion is destroyed, all ingredients and container are useless.
• +roll Body to judge any damage to brewer.
Failure:
• The proportions are off and the potion is of poor quality.
• -2 to the potions roll that would use this as an ingredient.
Any Success:
• 5 doses of Aconite Fluid are created.
