The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for an affordable robot vacuum and mop. good robot vacuum gives a great mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In tests, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't use LIDAR however, as other models do, to locate your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the most highly-rated robot vacuums. It comes with a variety of features and impressive cleaning power, including an area for dirt that is built into the base of charging. This robot can learn your habits for cleaning and recommend automatic schedules to give you an effortless cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the click of a button. You can choose an overall clean that emphasizes the removal of large debris such as cereal and rice or go for two thorough maps of your space to ensure that your home is properly arranged.

This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as other models do and can clean up pet hair with ease. It does have a hard time with high-pile or plush carpet, but iRobot claims it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ is a new design by iRobot that concentrates on enhancing the edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with a superior filtration system, which prevents tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. We think it's a nice claim, but not enough to justify a premium price.

Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors that keep track of your home's layout, and vSLAM technology for mapping the interior. It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and create virtual boundary markers to ensure that the robot is aware of which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robot that combines mopping and vacuuming. Its vacuum settings are just as good as those on higher-end models. The mopping system is even better as its spinning pads scrub your floors much more effectively than the vibrating pads.

The only issue is the lack of a second brush to allow for more thorough cleaning. However, that's automatic vacuum and mop robot when you're looking to purchase one of the best robots available. The robo-vac's dust tank larger than many of its rivals and takes only two or three cycles to fill it, even with the highest dirt level.

As for the mopping device, I was impressed by its ability to scrub off tough dirt from my floors. The two mopping modes that it has, which are less aggressive than the higher-powered ones generate minimal noise, allowing you to work or watch television without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or walls and move on whenever it comes across one.

What really makes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly autonomously with very little need for human intervention. The robo-vac features a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash into the bin hidden from view and cleans and drys the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app will only alert you when something is wrong, such as a low clean water tank or a canceled vacuuming session due to a full bin.

You can also combine or create rooms to personalize the way Q Revo handles your home. That's a handy feature if you have multiple rooms in your home that have different floor materials or if there's a lot of items that need to be cleaned out frequently, like clothes, toys, and books. The robo-vac was also one of the best performers in my tests and was able to remove debris from carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first attempt. It can vacuum up even wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it in.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it is a top-quality vacuum with powerful suction that cleans carpets and hard floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough staining. It also comes with an automatic cleaning station that washes and empties the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready to be reused. It also features a new sensor system that better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to prevent falling over furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS X1 Deebot is its sleeker, modern design. This is due to the Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still quite large. It measures over two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However, the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1 one, because it charges faster and can handle a complete cleaning of around 1,500 square feet on one charge. It also comes with a larger and more robust dustbin that can store more debris. This makes it easier to empty.

Its vacuuming performance is outstanding too and it enhances suction when it senses carpet to ensure it does an excellent job. It has a large rechargeable battery that lasts up to one week. The mopping feature of the robot is also extremely effective.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a top-quality mop and robot vacuum that comes with a variety of features that you do not often find on robots at this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types, and it's one of the few to automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These are nice features but they also place the L10s in the class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaning machine. It's slim and tall with a white finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Sensors are hidden behind the front pane which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that acts as an on/off switch. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and clicking it again will shut off the vacuum and send it back to its base station. The control panel is an oblique menu that lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons will open the app's settings where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.


Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to help you map out your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop efficiently and avoid getting stuck in cluttered areas. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them as obstacles, which is an excellent feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors, and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. Its mops are efficient, taking away 98.4% of debris on our wood, tile, and carpet tests. However, it wasn't as effective in removing sand from the hard floor and Quaker oats on carpet.
