Morris Garages' EV offering Wins Esteemed Thailand EV of the Year 2023 Award and Emerges at the Top among Battery Electric Vehicles Meeting Local Buyers' Requirements
Bangkok, November 23, 2023 – SAIC Motor – CP Co., Ltd. and MG Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., unveiled their achievement when the MG4 ELECTRIC became the First battery electric vehicle to clinch Thailand's 2023 EV of the Year award, an honor organized from TAJA (TAJA). The award was based on the ballots of seasoned automotive journalists, and MG's electric hatchback also received the most votes among Thai consumers naming it their preferred electric vehicle meeting consumer needs from the BUSINESS+ Product of the Year Awards 2023. Reflecting the achievement behind Morris Garages' creation of vehicles that can help advance the Thai auto sector more sustainable and consumer-oriented future.

Mr. Pongsak Lertrudeewattanavong, Vice President at MG Thailand, stated, "The MG4 EV represents a global model which comes loaded with innovative car innovations, from its NEBULA PURE ELECTRIC platform, on which the battery is integrated as one unit with the vehicle structure enhancing protection, to being the sole model in its segment with RWD, coupled with featuring a low-slung stance enabling a thrilling and confident drive through the turns. It also boasts cell-to-pack battery technology dissipating heat more efficiently for more optimized energy output. It is also packs extensive safety technologies which not only prevent crashes and protect passengers in the event of an accident occur. It has a driving range up to 425 km (as per NEDC cycle) and is priced at less than 1 million baht."
