Notes

June 17th, 2011
They've been following me for a month now. I've gotten used to it. It all started back in May, where I accidentally took a rock from somewhere. I was warned against it, but i *accidentally* did. It got lodged into my shoe. It didn't come out.
"Feed us."

That was all they would say. No elaboration. No specific thing. Just that they wanted me to "feed them", whatever that meant. I've been feeling weaker every day. Its like its sucking the energy out of me. I've tried so hard to get the rock out of my shoe, but nothing works. Its so annoying, now that I think about it. There's nothing I could do to stop this.

They've started to invade my dreams now. Even sleep won't give me peace. Its been only three days since I updated this. But things have gotten much worse. I feel something following me every single day. I don't know what it is, I just know that its cold. Too cold. It doesn't seem like a human, dead or alive. Rules out stalker and protection, I guess. It has changed.

I don't know what food they want. They want something. I don't know how to give it to them. My options are becoming limited extremely fast. I want this to end. I can't do this any longer.

They think i'm crazy. It won't stop following me around. My dreams are filled with them. My life is filled with them. I don't know what to do. I heard them at school today. My classmates were whispering. They swear they didn't, but I saw their mouths move. No one heard them. Why can I hear them. I don't want to hear them. Why can't they leave me alone. Why did they take all my options. Why are they haunting me. I didn't mean to take the rock. The only option I believe I have is the gun in my parent's room. They've started to pick up on it too. I hope to everything that it stops. I can't deal with the stress anymore.

I don't know why i'm still living here. They're still following me. I can't do anything about it. It changed again.

I don't know what they want to eat. I hope its not me. I don't know what they want from me. I'm scared. I feel like the end is coming. This month is supposed to be my best. Its not. Its summer and i'm being haunted by the cold. I feel it moving closer. No matter how long I stay under the sun, it comes back. It never lets me be warm in peace. Its taken over my dreams and my life. I started to get random texts at the worst hours. They all want to eat. What do I do. I'm lost. I'm considering the gun. Its becoming close to my end.

They've stopped. I've found out how to stop it. Its not the best method, sure, but it works. I don't need this journal anymore. I'm so happy. I had to use the gun though.

I closed the book and smiled, walking through the puddle of blood as I went to grab some water.
"Thanks mom and dad."
I smiled as I walked past my parents to join those who welcomed me with warm arms. They were here. And they stopped. I could never be happier. The police will question things, but it doesn't matter. I'm free.
