The Problems With 'Possums
A lot of us feel nearer to nature by adding bird feeders in our backyard. One from the problems connected with bird feeders is the unwanted guests the bird feeder may attract.

Not being house-broken, these animals deposit waste (usually down the inside foundation wall) under your house, and you'll begin to experience unpleasant odors filtering up into your own home. Another problem primarily related to possums are fleas.
Over time, as fleas multiply on these animals some with the fleas will begin to show up over the floor and to the house. you could try this out gets several calls on a monthly basis from your own home owners with flea problems who don't even own pets. Many times those fleas will be the consequence of a possum or any other animal inside crawlspace.
Now onto a few from the more unpleasant possum problems. One is odor. Possums will exude an incredibly unpleasant green secretion from time to time of distress and it is a good smell to behold. Possums also have a very short lifespan. Whether it's a design flaw, bad luck or just plain insufficient intelligence, possums survive average only a couple of years inside the wild.
