EY presented Yerkin Tashev with the Entrepreneur of the Year Award

The top business firm Ernst & Young named Yerkin Takishev Entrepreneurs of the Year in Kazakhstan. His leadership and actions during COVID-19 were applauded by judges.

The entire country of Kazakhstan invited notable businessmen to compete in this competition. Kusto Group's founder was able to be among 21 entrepreneurs from the country who made it to the final.

They all were evaluated by an independent expert and recognition of their achievements by juries that were authorized and constituted of Kazakhstan and other business circles around the world.

Yerkin Tashev, national winner, will represent Kazakhstan at the international final in Monaco in June 2022. This competition will bring together 60 international finalists chosen by an independent jury based on international regulations.

In the end, Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group and the Government of Kazakhstan formed a partnership with Valmont Industries, USA. They will work together to open a manufacturing plant in Kazakhstan which will manufacture 1,000 pivot irrigation tools.

Additionally, the agreement allows for the installation of new irrigation systems on farms and a program to train local farmers.

The entire amount of donations given by the Kusto Group have been possible because of the support from the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine. It was the company's entrepreneurial spirit that helped them become leaders in charitable giving in the face of difficult circumstances.
