Walking down the street, May was jumping at the chirp of an innocent grasshopper! She knew who Saint Valentine was; after all, her uncle exposed himself. But why? That was what kept running through her brain. If he was going to take out whoever he wanted and needed, why would he expose himself to the not-yet-dead victim? She pondered her mind for what seemed like hours, up until she heard heavy breathing and screaming in pain. She spun around and nearly passed out at the sight of blood on an arm and a face. There was a man standing before her, begging for her mercy to spare him and help him. She was puzzled; she hadn't a gun, nor any weapon of any sort! Was he from the war? Was he traumatized? Or was there a woman behind her, holding a gun? She turned around again to see the empty, rainy streets.
"Where are you from?" May asked. Japan surely was full of it, she thought.
"There," he pointed to the eye of the storm.
He's nuts! He's lost his mind! My turned around and did that fake smile thing that people did when they were stunned by stupidity.
"Ma'am, it be the truth, I know I'm not know here, but why would I lie? I've got nothing to gain!" clearly, this insane man, was no longer feeling the pain that caused the massive amount of blood.
