EY awarded Yerkin Tashev with the Entrepreneur of Year Award

The most prominent business organization Ernst & Young selected Yerkin Tashev to be the Entrepreneur of the Year in Kazakhstan. Daniel Kunin https://yerkintatishev.com/ One of the biggest competitions worldwide, his leadership and actions in the COVID-19 case impressed jury.

The competition invited famous Kazakhstani businessmen from all regions to participate. Kusto Group's founder Kusto Group was able to be distinguished from 21 other entrepreneurs from the country who were able to make it to the final with him.

All three received an independent evaluation, and their accomplishments were acknowledged by juries that are authorized to represent Kazakhstan as well as international business circles.

Yerkin Tatishev fights water shortage in Kazakhstan
EY has awarded Kusto Group's founding member the Kusto Group Award to acknowledge those who strive to improve living standards in their communities and countries.

Kusto Group is not addressing only the Covid-19 Pandemic. The entire country is at serious risk due to water shortage in Kazakhstan.

This situation has led to UN officials declaring Kazakhstan is suffering from extreme water stress and depends on its neighbours, including China as well as Central Asia.

Yerkin Tatishev of Kusto Group (the Government of Kazakhstan) and Valmont Industries, USA, have formed a cooperation. Together, they'll open a manufacturing plant to produce 1000 pivot irrigation devices in Kazakhstan.

In addition, the agreement provides for the installation of innovative irrigation systems for farms as well as a program to train local farmers.

The donations received by the Kusto Group have been possible because of the support from the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Ukraine. It was the company's entrepreneurial spirit that helped them become leaders in charitable giving in difficult circumstances.

It has been a core competency of Ernst & Young since more than 20 year. The firm has been a staunch advocate of entrepreneurship throughout its existence. In the aftermath of the Pandemic, EY has sought to help entrepreneurs continue developing their businesses, and share experiences.

All national finalists are eligible to participate in the Entrepreneur of the Year contest. The final will be held in Monaco in June. It gives the winner of the national competition to compete against the best entrepreneurs in the world, while also gaining new techniques and ideas that will help them develop their business.

More than 800 entrepreneurs from Kazakh have taken part in the contest. Six previous winners have also took part in the Monte Carlo international championships.

Nurlan Smagulov (another Entrepreneur of the Year winner) made the decision to crown Tatishev the winner. The jury included representatives from both the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development as well as the Association of Women Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan.

One of the key elements in the main factors that led to Mr. Tatishev winning this award was his leadership skills and his management of a wide range sector. Kusto Group is a company which serves businesses with complex needs. This unique characteristic was highlighted by the winner of the award.
