Need Inspiration? Try Looking Up Best Robot Vacuum And Mop
The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It's got a fantastic mopping performance but lacks some of the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to handle dust and dry oats on carpets of medium pile as well as pet hair on hard flooring. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't utilize LIDAR to map out your home.

Roomba s9+ from iRobot

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It is a powerful cleaner and plenty of features that include a self-emptying dirt compartment built into its charging base. This robot can learn your habits of cleaning, and suggest automated schedules to give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning functions with the touch of a button. You can choose a general clean, which prioritizes the removal of larger debris such as cereal and rice. Or you can choose two mappings to ensure that the entire home is thoroughly cleaned.

This robot vacuum performs well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It sucks up large items and does not lose suction as fast as other models do and can remove pet hair with ease. It's not able to work with carpets that are high-pile or plush however iRobot promises that the next models will be better.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing corner and edge cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that has flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug the furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are widely used, but we found it only marginally superior to circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration, which prevents microscopic particles and allergens recirculating in your home. It's a nice premise, however, we're not convinced it's enough to justify the price tag.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM to map your interior of your home. This allows it to stay clear of obstacles, such as staircases and other barriers, and to clean up your whole home in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundaries so that the robot can determine which areas need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a robotic that is a combination of mopping and vacuuming. Its vac settings are as effective as those on higher-end models, and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only drawback is that it doesn't have an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but that's an affordable price to pay if you are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank on the robo-vac is bigger than most of its competitors and filling it up takes only two or three cycles, even when you've got the most dirt.

For the mopping system, I was amazed by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has which are less powerful than high-powered settings, produce little noise, so you can work or even watch television without being distracted. If it comes across the wall or a piece of furniture, it gently bumps into it and then moves on.

What sets the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to run nearly completely on its own, with no need for user intervention. top robot vacuum of the robo-vac is multifunctional and automatically transfers garbage into a bin hidden. It also cleans, dries and refills the clean water tank. The app will only notify you when something is not right like low water levels or a canceled vacuuming session due to the bin being full.

You can also create or merge actual rooms in order to customize the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is useful when you have different flooring in different areas of your house or in the event that you have to regularly get rid of clutter like toys, clothes and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the top performers in my tests cleaning up debris from carpets and hardwood floors on the first pass. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a high-end robot vacuum and mop combo and more. Similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+, it comes with a powerful vacuum that has a powerful suction that cleans hard and carpet floors, and the mop's rotating design that can scrub tough stains. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also has a sensor system that detects obstacles more accurately which allows it to avoid falling onto furniture and other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). While still quite massive--it's nearly two feet high and deep and weighs almost four pounds--the robot itself and its base are much less bulky than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This model is also more efficient than the X1, as it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can complete a cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet on one charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable and can hold more debris, making it easier to empty when required.

The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant as well as an app that can be used even if you are not at home. It also has an intelligent routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home instead of following a set path.

The X2 Omni is the top robot at mopping. Its rotating mop pads remove tough stains and its motor generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent too, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does the job well. It has a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to seven days. The mopping feature of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum that comes with a variety of convenience features that you aren't likely to find on robots in this price. It has the ability to create detailed floor maps, detect various flooring types, and it's one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry its mop pads. These features are great, but they also push the L10s into the class of luxury. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners want.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's slim and tall, with a white finish accented with silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine has an impressive bumper that protects the furniture and vacuum cleaner as you move around your home. In the pane in the front is additional navigation technology that is comprised of sensors that help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the screen, you'll find one button that basically acts as an on/off switch. Pressing this will activate the vacuum, and pressing it again will turn off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The circular menu in the middle of the control panel allows you to select cleaning modes as well as schedules and preferences. The left and right buttons beneath the screen will bring up the settings menu of the app where you can modify how the L10s Ultra works with your home.

The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of LIDAR and cameras-based navigation technology to map out your home. This creates a detailed floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop effectively, without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR assists the robot vacuum to avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or children.

The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hard floors and taking out all but stubborn juice stains. The mops also work well and remove 98.4 percent of debris from our tile, carpet, and wood tests. It was not as effective at removing sand from the hard floor or quaker oatmeal from the carpet.
