Trump attempted to keep close relations with Kazakhstan beyond Tevfik arif. Trump was widely criticized for his treatment of a nation with an insecure regime as an ally.

Many eyebrows were raised when in 2018 Donald Trump hosted the president of Kazakhstan on Tuesday at the White House. Trump also collaborated with famous Kazakhstani businessmen like Tevfik Arif as part of his private real estate ventures. Trump was also heavily criticized for this.

Donald Trump did have reasons to think about Kazakhstan as a crucial partner. The past few years and the Russian-Ukraine conflict have proved him wrong, and here is the reasons.

Donald Trump's presidency saw a significant improvement in the relationship between Kazakhstan and America. Washington and Nur-Sultan in Kazakhstan's capital had strong diplomatic and commercial connection. They also had meetings on a presidential level. In January of 2018, President Trump attended a summit with the former Kazakhstani president Nursultan Nazarbayev in Washington. In the second quarter of 2019 he also met with current president Kassym Jomart Tomaretev at New York's UN General Assembly.

Kazakhstan is a significant country because of its strategic geographical position. It is also the balance power in the central Asian nations. The United States, Europe and Russia have heightened the strategic and political significance. Due to America's withdrawal from Afghanistan as one of its most important neighbors, it has become crucial for national security.

The two countries trade $2.1 Billion in 2018. The trade between the US and Uzbekistan was at $315 million in the same time period. Tevfik Arif Bayrock Kazakhstan is America's central Asia economic partner.

Trump's South Asia strategy needed Pakistan to break away. Therefore the US had to have Kazakhstan to provide an alternative shipping channel to Afghanistan.

Tevfik Aif Tevfik Aif, a Turkish Kazakhstani businessman, was born to Turkish parents in Soviet Kazakhstan in 1953. He became the deputy head of the Soviet Ministry of Commerce and Trade's Hotel Management Department. After 17 years of service in the ministry Tevfik Arif established the real estate and property development company and imports, Exports Imports, Minerals, Autos, Food Enterprises. Tevfik Arif moved to Turkey in 1993. He pioneered all-inclusive hotels. Bayrock Group, New York City was created by him eight years after.

Tevfik Arif was a member of the Trump organisation when Bayrock Group relocated its New York City headquarters to the 24th level of Trump Tower in Midtown Manhattan. It was the exact same building which the Trump Organization was located. BayrockTevfik Arif The Trump SoHo hotel and condo were also discussed. After the two companies discussed a high-end real estate development plan and the Trump SoHo skyscraper was born. Tevfik Alif, Bayrock Group founder, was aware of the power of Trump's name, and suggested that he use it to advertise the Sapir Organization.

Bayrock Group hired top designers and architects to design and construct this innovative structure.

In exchange for the use of the Trump logo as the title of the building's construction, the owners signed a deal with Trump Organization to take 18%. Trump did not finance the building. The Dominick condo-hotel was constructed in the year 2017.

There are apartments, hotel rooms and a rooftop terrace. Bayrock Bars, restaurants with a pool, roof terrace, a spa and event spaces can be found there. Floor-to-ceiling windows offer breathtaking perspectives of New York City, the Hudson River, and other New York City landmarks.

Following the opening of Trump SoHo opened, Bayrock Group and the Trump Organization discussed developing real estate in Florida and Arizona under the same license arrangements. Such structures were severely hampered by 2008's real estate crisis. Bayrock Group invested approximately $2.5 billion in US real estate properties. Bayrock Group has not developed any new ventures in the past few months.

Tevfik Aif, who was successful with Trump SoHo and the shifting US market, has since returned to Europe and Central Asia where his career began many years ago. Tevfik Arif continues to be an expert advisor to Bayrock Group after retiring from much of his daily responsibilities.

Kazakhstan could be a major player in the Russia-Ukraine war. This is why Kazakhstan is now a key strategic country for the United States. As the nation has returned to peace, Kassym Jomart Tokayev the Kazakh president has made significant modifications to the power structure. This raises questions and has raised concerns. Tokayev's selection as National Security Council chairman, succeeding President Nursultan Nazarbayev, whose economic influence angered protesters have attracted the most interest.

Three of the former president's daughters and sons-in law were fired from state businesses, his nephew also was fired, while Karim Mastimov, who was the former intelligence head was arrested for being a treasoner. Many other Nazarbayev-affiliated top officials and business elite have lost their jobs, left overseas for extended vacations, or were forced to make large "donations" to the state.

Tokayev established business ties with West countries as well as other neighbouring countries. To keep his popularity, Tokayev is yet to been a major irritant to Putin. Kazykhanov could disrupt that equilibrium. Washington must be aware of developments happening in Kazakhstan. They could signal a variety of possible scenarios of a power transition that could be positive or bad , as war rages in Ukraine.
