THE TRUTH BEHIND THE HAUNTED HOUSE
Morgan couldn't wait to see what was inside the antique box. Then he opened the box and inside there was a bouquet of dried lavender and a ring box. When he opened the box, he was shocked to see it covered in blood. He thinks it was a murder and decides to find out what happened.

He looked for clues from the people around him and learned that there had been a couple who had been engaged and lived happily in a house far from where I found the box, but after that I didn't know what happened that made this man left and sold the house. The horror began when the new owner moved into the house and a series of false and horrifying rumors happened in that house.

They said that when the new owner came, after 2 months they moved out and when they asked, they said that the house was haunted and said that every night they heard sobbing in the attic, and sometimes they saw blood flowed from the bathroom wall. Then, the next owners said they heard crying and saw the ghost of a woman standing in the corner of the attic. More bad rumors caused the house to be abandoned and many people came to it, but they all said that the house had someone's body. After asking around, Morgan decided to discover the mystery behind this house. Morgan went around the house and discovers many strange things around the house. Morgan discovered a brand new wooden door in a hidden corner behind the house even though the house had been abandoned for a long time. Morgan entered the house, there was a lot of dust inside. He explored each room and gradually made his way to the bathroom, where bystanders said the first owner said they discovered blood dripping from the wall. When he went into the bathroom, he tried turning on the shower to check, but the strange thing was that the water was still there and not cloudy. Does he find it unusual that the house has not been used for a long time and still has clean, turbid water like this? Morgan went up to the attic and found it also covered in dust. He noticed a large white cloth covering something in the corner. He walked over, opened the canvas and saw that underneath the canvas was a gilded framed portrait of a beautiful young girl with brown hair and blue eyes and it seemed that the only thing that mattered was the painting and the canvas the only one without dust, Morgan was suspicious.

Next, he went to look for other rooms and discovered a small locked room. With his intelligence, he broke the lock and entered that room. The first thing he noticed when he walked into the room was that it smelled faintly of lavender. He saw a small room and scattered around were flower petals intertwined, he saw a bed on which were bouquets of fresh flowers such as lavender, black roses and hydrangeas. He again saw the portrait of the girl he had seen earlier in the attic and standing next to her was a man. Morgan thought and suddenly his eyes saw a box at the bedside. When he opened it, inside there was a letter, a camera and photos of the boy and girl. When he read the letter, this was a letter from a girl to a boy and looking at the photos Morgan saw the girl smiling and looking extremely happy.

Suddenly Morgan was attacked by someone and fainted. When he woke up he was tied up, in front of him was the man he saw in the picture. The man asked: "Who are you?" Morgan did not respond, making the man angry, he punched Morgan. At this moment, Morgan suddenly spoke up and said: "You are that girl's husband, right?". He looked at Morgan in surprise. Morgan confirmed his guess was correct, he continued - "I found a box buried quite far from the house under a tree, inside contained a bouquet of dried flowers and the box contained a bloodstained ring. Is that your wife's engagement ring?" After the man finished listening, a look of panic appeared on his face. I smirked and continued to speak even though the other man did not respond - "I wonder why this place has not been used for a long time but has clean water to use, and the place going up to the attic is not dusty. he painting is covered with a clean white cloth as if someone cleaned it every day. In that locked room there are bouquets of fresh flowers as if they were just brought home. I guess he is the one behind all the strange things. That's strange and most importantly, the place where he can go in and out without anyone noticing is the wooden door at the back of this house. He deliberately did that so that other people wouldn't come here because this is where he hid the body my wife and the scene of the crime, right?". At this time he replied to Morgan "I am Theodore, my wife is Liliana, we were engaged but I didn't kill her. She had an accident and died. I buried our memories in a coffin box and then bury it far away from here. I really want to chase those people away because I don't want anyone to discover that room because that's where my wife often went when she was alive."

I looked at the front man in shock - Theodore was his name? So did I guess everything wrong?

I didn't have the heart to shout, "So can you explain why there's blood on the ring? It's not like you killed your wife and you're not quick to admit it!" Theodore looked at me and continued, "after she had an accident, the thing she held tightly in her hand while she was dying was our engagement ring. That's why it was stained with blood."

I was surprised and my brain suddenly flashed the bouquets of flowers. I thought for a while before suddenly realizing the profound meaning of the bouquets of flowers that Theodore placed on the bed. I looked up at Theodore who was explaining to me with a bitter smile on his face. I felt regretful for making him like this. From the beginning I should not have been curious about this tragic story.

After clarifying everything, Theodore released me and gave me a gift box, which I did not rush to open. I returned him the box I had dug up in the corner of the tree. By the time it was all over, I was still stuck in the truth that I had discovered without any explanation for the strange phenomena. Was it Theodore's doing or was it really Liliana trying to protect that house? Or is there any secret that I don't know yet?

On Theodore's side, after seeing Morgan away, a cunning smile appeared on his face. He walked to the back of the house and pressed on a brick on the wall, which opened up a secret passage that no one knew about. He went deeper inside, walked up to something and kissed it, saying "wife, I'm here to visit you."

After Morgan grew up, he wrote a story about his adventures about that house.
