Notes

Death, desire, and failure,
Three companions on life's journey.
One we cannot escape,
One we cannot quench,
One we cannot avoid.

Death, the final destination,
Desire, the constant yearning,
Failure, the inevitable outcome.

Yet, in the face of these three,
We find the strength to carry on,
To live, to love, to hope.

For in the end, it is not the destination,
But the journey that matters most.

Sad poem

The world is dark, the sky is gray,
The sun has set, and night's at bay.
The stars are out, but they don't shine,
For in my heart, there's no sunshine.

The tears I cry, they fall like rain,
A never-ending cycle of pain.
The memories of what once was,
Are now just shadows, lost in the buzz.

The love I had, it's gone away,
Leaving me here, alone to stay.
The dreams I dreamt, they're all but dead,
A life of sorrow, that's what's ahead.

The world is cruel, and so unkind,
A place of darkness, where hope's hard to find.
But still I search, for a glimmer of light,
A reason to live, a reason to fight.

For in the end, it's not the pain,
But the love that we give, that will remain.
So let us love, with all our might,
And keep our hearts, shining bright.
