TELL ME ABOUT YOURSELF
- I am Obey Venn T. Bernabe. Thank you for granting me this opportunity today. I am a Grade 12 student taking the ABM or Accountancy, Business, and Management strand at Talamban National High School. I possess the skills and qualities necessary to excel in this role. Although I don't have prior job experience, I am eager to learn and develop. Outside of work, I prioritize maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. I am a positive individual who embraces change and takes responsibility for my own professional development.

1. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF?
- I would describe myself as productive, commercially-aware and self-motivated. I am productive because you will see me achieve every good things in your company. I am commercially-aware because I understand the importance on doing a good job. I am Self-motivated because I can finish quickly all the tasks that has needed to be done.

2. WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES DO YOU HAVE THAT MAKE YOU FIT FOR THE POSITION YOU ARE APPLYING FOR?
- While I'm currently in 12th grade and don't have direct work experience, I've developed strong organization, communication, and teamwork through my studies. I'm passionate, a quick learner, and ready to contribute effectively to the team.

3. HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THIS POSITION?
- When it comes to hearing about this position, I actually stumbled upon it while browsing online job boards. I was actively searching for new opportunities and this position caught my eye. It seemed like a perfect fit for my skills and interests, so I decided to apply.

4. WHY DO WE HIRE YOU?
- I believe you should hire me because I possess the skills and qualities necessary for the stated position. If given the opportunity, I am committed to contributing my best efforts to ensure the company's success. I will treat my co-workers well and actively contribute to the company's growth.

5. WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE OUR COMPANY?
- I chose your company because I believe I have a lot to learn, and my skills will develop in your company. I found out that your company isn't just about work but also about having a great team and a cool vibe. It's exactly the kind of place where I can see myself learning and growing.

6. WHAT ARE YOUR STRENGTHS?
- My strengths include my ability to learn things very quickly, the fact that I am a "people person," which means I am a positive role model in your company, and the fact that I see change as a positive thing and will always embrace it for the betterment of the company.

7. WHAT ARE YOUR WEAKNESSES?
- I have so many weaknesses, but my biggest weakness is the fact that I am not used to any criticism, because once I have been criticized by others, I feel down and stressed. But now that the time has passed, I am slowly working on it because I believe that the criticism that I have received is also a mistake that I need to improve.

8. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT LEARN FROM US?
- I expect to gain hands-on experience, learn industry insights, and develop practical skills that will complement my academic knowledge. I'm eager to contribute, grow, and absorb the real-world dynamics of your company.

9. WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF 5 TO 10 YEARS FROM NOW?
- In 5 to 10 years, I picture myself thriving in your successful company, contributing my best efforts, and growing professionally. I hope to take on more responsibilities and play a key role in the continued success of the team.

10. HOW DID YOUR SCHOOL EXPERIENCES PREPARE FOR THIS JOB?
- During my time in school, I developed strong problem-solving and communication skills, which I believe will be valuable in this job. Additionally, I gained experience working on team projects, which taught me how to collaborate effectively.

11. WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST REWARDING ACCOMPLISHMENT?
Although I don't have professional work experience yet, I am proud of my academic achievements. Maintaining a high GPA and being an honor student have been rewarding for me. I have gained valuable skills through different roles in school. These experiences have helped me develop strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills, which I believe will translate well into the workplace.

12. WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR MOST CHALLENGING EXPERIENCE? HOW DID YOU MANAGE IT?
- One of the most challenging experiences I've had was during my senior high school year when I had to balance a heavy strand while also dealing with personal responsibilities. It was overwhelming at times, but I managed to overcome it by prioritizing my tasks, creating a schedule, and seeking support from my professors and classmates. I learned the importance of time management, resilience, and asking for help when needed. Although it wasn't a work-related challenge, I believe these skills will be valuable in any professional setting.

13. DO YOU PREFER WORKING INDEPENDENTLY OR ON A TEAM? WHY?
- I enjoy both working independently and collaborating with a team. Working independently allows me to focus and take full ownership of my tasks, while working in a team brings diverse perspectives and fosters creativity. It's exciting to bounce ideas off others and achieve collective goals. So, I appreciate the balance between independent work and teamwork to maximize productivity and innovation.

14. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE IN TERMS OF YOUR ABILITY TO WORK AS A MEMBER OF A TEAM?
- I would describe myself as a great team player. I love working with others and believe that collaboration brings out the best in everyone. I actively contribute my ideas, listen to my teammates, and support their efforts. I believe that effective communication, mutual respect, and leveraging each other's strengths are key to a successful team dynamic. Being part of a team allows me to learn from others and achieve our goals together.

15. HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH PRESSURE OR STRESSFUL SITUATIONS?
- When it comes to dealing with pressure or stressful situations, I find that taking a step back and practicing some self-care techniques can be really helpful. For example, I like to take deep breaths, go for a walk, or listen to calming music. I also find that breaking tasks down into smaller, manageable steps helps me stay focused and organized. Additionally, talking to someone I trust, like a friend or family member, can provide valuable support and perspective.

16. WHEN YOU'RE BALANCING MULTIPLE PROJECTS, HOW DO YOU KEEP YOURSELF ORGANIZED?
- When I'm balancing multiple projects, I rely on a few organizational strategies. First, I like to create a detailed to-do list, prioritizing tasks based on deadlines and importance. This helps me stay focused and ensures that nothing falls through the cracks. I also find it helpful to break down larger projects into smaller, more manageable tasks. This allows me to make progress consistently and avoid feeling overwhelmed.

17. WHAT ARE YOUR SALARY EXPECTATIONS?
- I’m seeking a fair and competitive salary that aligns with the market rate for entry-level positions in your company.

18. WHAT DID YOU DO TO IMPROVE YOUR KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS?
- I've been taking advantage of various resources to improve my knowledge and skills. I've been actively participating in class discussions, asking questions, and seeking clarification to deepen my understanding. In addition, I've been utilizing online platforms and educational websites to access supplementary materials and tutorials.

19. WHAT INFLUENCED YOU TO CHOOSE YOUR TARGET COURSE IN COLLEGE?
- When it comes to choosing my target course in college, tourism really caught my attention. I've always had a deep love for exploring new places, experiencing different cultures, and meeting people from all over the world. The idea of being able to turn my passion for travel into a career was incredibly exciting for me. I also saw the tourism industry as a dynamic and ever-growing field with plenty of opportunities for personal and professional growth. It just felt like the perfect fit for me.
