No one swims here due to hazardous rip currents, but there were a few men fishing in the crashing surf. The sea and mountain scenery is very good, but certainly no better than numerous other sites in Taiwan. You can enjoy the shore views during the day or night with plenty of photo ops during either. It’s great to walk inside the park especially not many people around, quite & peaceful. Apparently, you can also rent bike to fully explore and enjoy the ocean shore & park. Taiwan’s 14 aboriginal tribes occupied the island for as long as 15,000 years before Han settlers from China arrived in the 17th Century.
The city is known for its delicious food, and you don’t want to miss out on the chance to try some of the best dishes in Taiwan. Cycling along the East Coast Scenic Area is a fantastic way to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Taitung. 台東美食伴手禮 The route stretches for 170 kilometers, offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, verdant mountains, and quaint fishing villages. You can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Taitung City and start your adventure.

If successfully traversed, an offline map can be obtained for navigation to Penpen Mountain. 島嶼傳說2021黃淑卿創作展 在這裡開展中，這是一個很不錯的展覽環境，位於台東縣政府旁邊，交通環境都是得天獨厚，但是知道的人比較少。 The art center, known as 國立臺東生活美學館, constantly refreshes its exhibition, showcasing 20 new masterpieces annually. The collection features professional artworks that offer a delightful visual experience. Moreover, the center regularly updates its displays to ensure visitors encounter fresh and captivating pieces. It was quite the experience watching stars with calming wave sounds in the background.

They’ve been renovated and converted to a commercial space to attract both locals and tourists alike. From what I saw at Huashan and Songshan, the Taiwanese are excellent at repurposing industrial spaces like these and turning them into cool arts venues. This was one of the places we visited for the Gourmet Taiwan Festival. It’s a big, beautifully designed theme restaurant that does to vintage bric-a-brac what Hard Rock Cafe does for music memorabilia. I kid you not, there isn’t a square inch of this space that isn’t beautifully designed or well-thought-out. They have multiple branches in Taichung alone, but the one I marked in the map above is the original store.
The awesomeness of this is that you can take one highway down, and the other one up. Some are a straight shot, and others are slow, winding roads that take you through remote aboriginal territory. To get from Taitung City to Kenting, the train crosses over to the west coast of Taiwan. You’ll get off at Fangliao station, from where you can catch a bus for the final leg to Kenting. You can rent a scooter at Xincheng train station or at Hualien Station in Hualien City.
This aizome jinbei is designed to be functional, made from natural cotton the material is difficult to wrinkle and has an adjustable drawstring waistband as well as large pockets. Zó Project is a Hanoi-based initiative that aims to revive the traditional Vietnamese art of zo paper making. Located on Hanoi's famous 'Train Street,' their shop offers a variety of products, including propaganda posters, calligraphy prints, heritage-printed notebooks, etc. Zó Project also provides calligraphy and watercolor classes, as well as tours to the paper-making village. After exploring the night market, head to one of Taitung’s many bars or clubs to experience the city’s lively nightlife scene. From trendy cocktail bars to laid-back pubs, there’s something for everyone here. You can sip on a refreshing beer or cocktail while mingling with locals and fellow travelers alike.

Moreover, the Environmental Protection Administration provides accommodation discounts for customers who cooperate with environmental protection activities. Currently, there are 123 “Eco-Friendly Hotels” in Taitung County, which is the highest amount in all of Taiwan. Below, we have highlighted a few of many wonderful hotel options in Taitung for the environmentally conscious traveler. There is no factory, industrial park or skyscraper in this part of Taiwan.
