Anfang dieses Jahres nahm ich an einem eher formellen Arbeitsevent in Las Vegas teil und war dort gekleidet, um in meiner besten Version eines übergewichtigen Ray Donavan zu beeindrucken. Ich ging in die Lobby-Etage und direkt zur Bellagio Mall. Alles für den gut gekleideten Erwachsenen, den Sie sich nur wünschen können, Stoffschuhe, Jacken, Anzüge, Accessoires, alles zu einem Preis, der Sie in einen Schockzustand versetzen wird … es sei denn, Sie haben am Abend zuvor den Jackpot gewonnen, leider nicht.
In dieser Nacht war ich wachelos und seitdem fast jeden Tag.
