“Ughhhh what time is it. “ my timer said 12 o’clock . Wait 12 O CLOCK , I rushed out of my bed and put on any clothes that I could find. I did quick make up that didn’t look good and I put some clips in my hair, packed some extra things and went into my car. Yes I know it was illegal because I’m 16 and I wasn’t driving with anybody else but I’m late. I drove to the cafe I was supposed to be meeting Michelle at 11:30. ” Lucy where are you I’ve been waiting here for 30 minutes , why the hell haven’t you been here”
“Oh I’m sorry I just slept in till like really late “ “ yeah I know it’s really late what are you wearing, it’s not the 1980s it’s the year 2000OMG “ well I was late I was kind of trying to meet you here on time “ “well mission failed “ we looked around the room and saw that all the waiters were looking at us slightly funny so we sat down and started take our order. I decided to get a milkshake and Michelle said , “ yeah I’ll have that too “ so they brought us the milkshakes but then Michelle said “aren’t you trying to lose weight”. “ no that’s Kylie, Kylie is the one that’s trying to lose weight oh my god what the hell Michelle you don’t know anything “ Michelle laughed . “ ha ha yeah I know I don’t well no one really has better friends than us so we should be grateful even if we forget everything about each other” Then Michelle said, “ do you want to go to the beach later after we eat our food and drinks, our fat filled milkshakes “ Well I was thinking that we should go shopping “ I answered. Then Michelle smiled I stared out at the sun it was so bright today . it’s so beautiful when the day is going well and you’re not fighting with your friends and you see the sun shining but best of all you gonna go shopping . “ Brandon’s there” she said. Brandon is my ex. She started explaining drama about Brandon and talking about and talking about his girlfriends but I only know this because of the tone of her voice . I wasn’t listening my mind drifted away like rubbish in the ocean I just stared out at the city buildings and the whispering people. Michelle saw me annoyed and stopped talking
