Atstumas nuo vektoriaus pradžios iki galo vadinamas vektoriaus ilgiu arba moduliu
Rūšys:
1. kolinearus, jeigu jie yra vienoje tiesėje arba lygiagrečiose
tiesėse.
2. komplanarus, jeigu jie yra vienoje plokštumoje arba
lygiagrečiose plokštumose.
3. lygus, jeigu jų moduliai yra lygūs, jie kolinearūs ir jų
kryptys sutampa.
vektorius a x alpha = vektoriui b
jeigu alpha teigiamas a kryptis sutampa su b, jei alpha neigiamas nesutampa.
vektoriaus b ilgis yra lygus a ilgiui x alpha (visi moduliai)
vektoriai a ir b ir kolinearus jei b=a x aplha
Vektorius, kurio ilgis lygus 1, vadinamas vienetinio ilgio vektoriumi a pakeltas nuliniu = 1/a nuliniu x a

dviejų vektorių, pirmojo dėmens pradžią su paskutiniojo dėmens galu.
