Alyssa, I heard that you have been going through quite a rough time and have been considering quitting. Please do what you think is going to be best for you and what is going to benefit you the most. All good players have their breaking points but that doesn't stop them that just makes them know that they should be working harder I know you are working hard but the more motivation you lose the worse it's going to get. Please little sis keep working. I promise you that everything is going to be fine after you continue playing. I know everything is hard at the moment especially with not being able to go to the high school that you might want to go with but trust me that's how I felt too. Going to a high school where I had to make new friends was hard, but it was the best decision that I and angel have ever made. You have always said that you wanted to follow Dad's coaching footsteps by having him as your high school coach and when you told us that you wanted to follow every single one of our footsteps until college so you can succeed by going to San Gabriel and having the best seasons ever but sadly some things have to change. With any high school that you go to you will dominate. You called a Canizal for a reason. Cmon kid keep pushing you have a couple more years left. I love you so much kid more than anything. You being the sharpshooter you are and the little hesi attacker I know you will be going to so many places, Oh the places you'll go are one of my favorite lines when I think of you. I wouldn't be surprised if you went to Pro's. You have improved so much, and you have so much potential. Me and Angel are always going to help you train to get better. We will always remind you that if you make a mistake it doesn't matter. Please remember what I told you when I was in the hospital last month. You skated at like 2 am from the house to the ER just to see me and you had been crying just seeing me almost on my death bed, but my exact words were "Alyssa everything is going to be okay; I will be out of here soon enough and we can have the times of our lives again just like how we used to. You can tell me all the chisme and we can have our movie nights again but promise me you won't be sad. If you need advice here. But please don't forget what I told u when we were kids. you asked me what the bravest thing I've done, and I told u that I asked for help because asking for help isn't giving up it is refusing to give up I asked u if you were going to give up and u promised me u would. So please keep your head up I'll be out of here in no time". I also know how hard dad and mom are, but everything will be fine. Family problems are normal trust me they are, but you need to be brave and not let your emotions get to you. Remember what Coach John Wooden said "Emotions are your enemy" You need to show your brothers how brave you are. If I had a penny for how many times, I've seen you be brave or even me just being proud of you I would be rich. You can do so many things, but you need to gain that confidence back. Your mentality has lacked so much but once we get back to the Lab everything will be okay. When you're a Canizal you never quit and that's what you and I are going to work on. I know everything is hard and scary right now, but you need to have trust in me, okay? I love you 3000 and please keep your head up. I'll see you very soon.
