That said, at least some of the sins of the “MSM” are practiced by “A-list bloggers,” too.

Edit: I've first asked this question for the German and English Stackexchange version (both places where "mathematics" tags exist), but as it turned out this is likely also the case for all non-English languages and the community here may be better suited to answer the question, I've also posted it here. I called in immediately, and told the screener that they should either correct the misinformation on the air if that was how they were going begin the program, or they should let me go on and make a point about how tea-people are delusional and believe things that aren’t real, and as proof I could point to the lead-in to the program. Reporting the story right away for people in Kansas might be understandable, but I feel like the national audience could have waited until NPR could do more reporting/digging into the issue. I just had to add NPR to the list, as my personal way to reward them for this decision.1 A decision that is somehow rare enough among publishers that it triggers an article by the New York Times.
