Burlington's First Medical Marijuana Dispensary

Medical marijuana bylaws in Vermont are more restrictive than Massachusetts's

A qualified patient can have two mature marijuana plants. They can also grow seven immature plants.

The Vermont medical marijuana law has several other notable provisions. It is illegal to consume marijuana in any public place, including in vehicles. A person using marijuana in a vehicle with a child can be fined $200. It is also illegal to use marijuana in a child care facility.
