She was just an average girl
She always wore a smile
She was happy and cheerful for a short while
Now she's older, things are getting colder
Life isn't what she thought
And she wishes someone could have told her

She told you she was down and you let it slip by
So from there she kept it all on the inside
Tried to tell herself she was alright
But she was telling white lies
Can't you tell? Look at her dull eyes

Tried to stop herself from crying almost every night
She knew there was no chance of ever feeling alright
Summer came by, all she wore was long sleeves
All those cuts were bleeding through you see

She knew she was depressed but couldn't admit it
Carried on like a soldier with a battle wound
Had no friends so alone she sat
If someone were to notice her cuts
She would blame the cat
The cuts were no mistake but no one could save her
From her own self hate

Things were spiralling down
Never up, always stuck in a stupid rut
So now she knows what's left to do
Stand upon a chair and wrap the rope around her neck
Sh knew her parents weren't to blame
It's this world that should bow its head down in shame
She stood upon the chair staring out to the moon
Breathing deeply, thinking "it'll all be over soon"

The chair fell as she took her final breath
It's all over, all done and now she's greeting death
Her mum walks in and falls to the floor
Nothing can take back what she just saw
The little girl that she loved and raised is just hanging there
Her body pale and face violently bare
She unfolds the note and reads with care

"I'm sorry this world is just not my place, there's nothing left here for me. I tried so hard to fix this rut I was in but I've realised this world is just fill of sin. I was a wast of space, no good for anyone anyway. But don't worry, youll see me soon. When your time comes, just look up at the moomoonining bright. Remember everyone is facing their own fight, but I couldn't deal with the pain I'm not a fighter and my presence is no longer needed. I tried, so hard. Believe me, but I know in a year youll forget about me. As I am not something to be dwelled on. I'll be watching over you from the clouds above, but I guess for now it's goodbye".
