Are You Responsible For A Cheap Single Pushchair Budget? 12 Top Notch Ways To Spend Your Money
Cheap Single Pushchairs

If you're looking to save money and don't require a stroller that doubles up as a car seat carrier, the Babyzen Yoyo is a good choice. It has a simple, one-step foot brake that's flip flop friendly.

It's also easy to push and feels solid when navigating kerbs or woodland paths. It's also easy to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate lightweight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, due to its super nimble manoeuvrability and fold that fits in aeroplane overhead luggage. The most recent version comes with independent suspension on all four wheels constructed of Hytrel elastomer. This allows it to effortlessly navigate all terrains and types'.

The curved fabric bassinet, base YOYO2 and 6+ months colour pack combine to create a chic pushchair with a delicate elegant design. The frame's weight alone is just over a kilogram and is so light that you can easily lift it from the box (and do it with one hand).

It's also easy to attach or remove adaptors or attachments like the hood for example, snaps onto the YOYO2 with reassuring clicks and is machine washable to help deter staining from rice cakes that have been smashed and half-dissolved carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as a pram. It can also be transformed to a stroller by 6 months using the YOYO connect other chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

The Evenflo Pivot Xplore is a great choice for parents looking for a stroller that can be used in a variety of ways. It can be converted from a stroller to a wagon just by flipping the handle, which means parents can select which mode they prefer on their adventure. The wagon can be used by one or two children from 6 months old to 5 years old, and it comes with a spacious storage basket to accommodate all of your on-the-go needs.

The Xplore has two canopies that can rotate from front to back, offering adequate sun protection for the entire family. It has a smaller footprint than other wagons. This might not be suitable for long journeys or napping.

The frame on the Xplore feels solid and sturdy however it doesn't have the same flexibility as other wagons we tried. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold and does not lock tightly when folded. It is easy to move, however, and it can fit through doors that are narrower than 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great choice for parents who are looking for a second stroller that's priced reasonably. It scored well in our Strollers & Multiples Test for its weight and folded dimensions, meaning it is lightweight and compact when folded and easy to move and store into a car trunk. It also comes with an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and an integrated cup holder for the parent. Other important features include two large storage bags that hang from the ceiling and 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

It did better in our push and turn test than most of the other strollers we tested but is still difficult to maneuver over uneven terrain or through narrow doors. The sunshades it has are among the smallest we tested, offering only direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 has a significantly larger canopy.

The Delta took us just over three minutes to put together with an average manual, and none of the components required tools. But, it's lacking some essential features that we think you should not compromise on for a double stroller for example, a larger basket, and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the newest addition to Maxi-Cosi's pushchair range and is billed as an urban travel system. It is designed to take baby from birth up to approximately 3.5 years, converting easily between a carrycot and seat in just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a light Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in car-base and reversible carriage.

The seat can be reclined with one hand, and the large shopping basket makes it easy for parents to take their child in and out. Despite being narrow, the pushchair handled the everyday bumps with ease and slid through doors without any fuss.

The front wheels can be locked into forward positions or allow them to rotate which is helpful when traversing rough terrain. We let the front wheels to swivel during our walk on the stony path. It handled the situation well, even though it felt to be a bit rougher.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is famous for their three-wheeled, all-terrain Jogging pushchairs, however they also offer a great assortment of strollers with four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is easy to fold and fits easily in the trunk of a car even with the carrycot attached.

It's a bit heavier than other strollers that we test, but the wheels are rubber composite, which makes it feel well-built and sturdy. It is easy to maneuver across different terrains and even with two kids, a shopping bag and other items.

The carrycot and seat both have hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are waterproof and strong, unlike some other prams' hoods which are bounced back into toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have a large, deep basket to accommodate a changing bag or a large amount of groceries. It can also be connected with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a traveling system for babies as big as 20 lb (car seat and adapters are sold separately). If you require a stroller that can be used on the road, then the City Tour 2 is an ideal choice.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first came onto the scene it stole the hearts of parents across the world. It's a stroller made of aluminum that can see you through your baby's initial days and beyond. It's got a lot of standout features, including the capacity of the seat to flip between parent and world facing as well as a large UPF50+ canopy that has an eye shade that flips out, and an adjustable handlebar.

The wheels are durable and filled with foam, which reduces the risk of punctures. The chassis is equipped with built-in suspension that eases the pain of bumpy terrain. It was simple to push and our tester was able manoeuvre the vehicle through the narrow streets.

It folds in four simple steps, and locks automatically without hassle. It is also able to stand and be trolleyed for easier transport in the trunk of your car or down the stairs at home. It also comes equipped with the option to add a car seat and a carrycot using the included adaptors. The brakes are simple to use using a single action, colour coded and flip-flop-friendly.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget single pushchair is extremely easy to use and features an excellent dual suspension system, one-hand fold and a practical carry strap. It's also lightweight and robust. The seat can be reclined into several positions. It comes with a built-in double breathable mattress that is suitable from birth.

The canopy/seat comes with two big sun visors that can be either fixed or flipped out. Both are UPF50+. However, the toggle closure isn't great because it's not as quiet as Velcro and could wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is an angled stroller that can accommodate twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and works with a few carrycots. In twin mode the seats can be positioned to face one another or rotate around to face parents, theoretically cutting down on sibling disputes over who sits with mom and dad. It comes with a big tray for gears as well as a bottle holder and snack tray. It also comes with a compact stand fold, and an automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger that's ideal for parents who love to be active. single seat buggy 's among the lightest running strollers you can buy for your child and offers excellent safety features such as a 5-point harness and safety wrist strap. It has a different type of hand brake that is different from other models that is an interesting twist.

The seat is padded and offers a large area to sit. However the seat's depth is less than that of other joggers (it's just about 10 inches") The storage bin is secured with a zipper to keep things safe. It can hold up to 10lbs which is sufficient for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 isn't compatible with bassinets or infant car seats in the way it is, however you can use it from day one with the purchase of adapters to most seats from brands like BOB, Graco, Combi, Evenflo, Britax, and UPPAbaby. It's easy to fold and assemble in just 5-10 minutes with no tools. The manual is simple to read and contains a variety of languages.
