14 Questions You're Uneasy To Ask Best Lightweight Single Stroller
Best Lightweight Single Stroller

It is the lightest and compact travel stroller available. Its sleek design allows it to fold into a stylish rectangle shape, and the wheels are a lot easier to turn than other styles.

The stroller also has an enormous storage area underneath the seat and a shoulder strap to make it easier to transport when you're not pushing it. However, the canopy adjustment can cause quite a bit of noise, which could wake a sleepy toddler.

1. Contours Itsy

A compact stroller that is also a compact stroller, the Contours Itsy offers lots of features for its small size. The back under-seat basket is equipped with a spring-loaded mechanism, allowing you to pull the basket down to store a backpack or diaper bag and then it will pop up to secure its contents. It also has a child accessory tray and adjustable backrest pad for the seat and a reclining seat back pad, which offer more options than you normally see on a stroller with a light weight.

Additionally, it has a great canopy that can open and close to give you the sun protection you need, and the handlebar can be adjusted in height in four positions to provide a more comfortable fit. However, we weren't thrilled by the ride quality on rough terrain. We felt that the suspension and wheels did not perform a great job of absorbing shocks and bumps.

The stroller is ideal for travel since it is fully assembled in the box. It takes only just a few steps to be ready for use. The seat can be pushed back and forward to adjust the recline. It's pretty flat. Two buttons on the frame make it simple to fold and unfold. It also fits in a convenient carrying bag for when it's not in use. In fact, it's one of the smallest strollers we tested, and it meets most airlines' requirements for gate-checking and cabin storage on planes. 2. Kolcraft Cloud Plus

This stroller is an excellent option for those looking for a lightweight travel stroller. It comes with everything parents want in a stroller. This includes all-terrain wheels and front suspension to ensure a smooth ride. It is also incredibly lightweight with less than 12 pounds. It folds in one hand and stand up on its own. It also has an adult tray and a child tray, each with two cup holders.

Its build quality isn't very excellent, and it didn't perform well in our maneuverability test. It also has a swivel frame that makes pushing it over rough surfaces feel like lifting a heavy weight. This is fine if you only use the stroller on paved sidewalks, but for most people, it's likely to not provide a comfortable experience.

The Cloud Plus features a three-tiered extended canopy with an open window that provides additional sun protection. Its multi-positional seat can accommodate children up 50 pounds and features a five-point safety restraint. This is an excellent feature for older toddlers who have outgrown their infant car seats.

It's small and folds in one step. It can be collapsed by pressing a button. It also comes with a brake that can be operated by a foot, which is simple and easy to adjust and release.

However the handle is a bit lower than other strollers we looked at and some parents may find it uncomfortable for long durations. The handle locks in place when it's opened. This is a good feature to have if will be using the stroller on uneven or muddy terrain.

3. Munchkin Sparrow

The Munchkin Sparrow stroller is the ideal travel stroller for parents who are constantly moving. The compact stroller is a breeze to fold down and up, and fits easily in overhead compartments on planes as well as in trunks at amusement parks (no worries about parking charges). It comes with a convenient zip carrying bag for easy storage. It can be used with the infant car adapter from birth and provides excellent sun protection with its canopy. The only downside is that some parents consider the design to be a bit utilitarian and expensive.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ stroller is more expensive than other lightweight single strollers. However, it was specifically designed for urban living and luxe travel. It's one of the most easy strollers to fold and comes with a handy carry case. It has plenty of storage space and a cup holder. The seat is comfortable for both the child and the adult, and reclines to a nearly flat position. This is the only stroller on our list that can be used by infants with the car seat adapter. Some parents with shorter legs might not appreciate the handlebar that does not adjust.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 isn't the lightest stroller on our list, but it comes with numerous great features that make traveling with kids easier. The spacious seat reclines to a pretty flat position, and has extra padding so that those airplane naps last longer. The footrest, however, appears to be prone to damage from baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Minu V2

At just under 15 pounds, the Minu is easy to carry with a built-in handle and shoulder strap. It can also be put in the trunk of your vehicle, and it comes with a storage bag and access to the Uppababy TravelSafe program which provides two years of manufacturer's warranty and covers replacements for any items damaged during air travel.
