Why We Love Best Lightweight Single Stroller (And You Should, Too!)
Best Lightweight Single Stroller

Travel strollers don't get much smaller or lighter than this. Its sleek design makes it easy to fold into a neat rectangle shape and the wheels rotate more smoothly than other models.

It also has a large under-seat storage space and an adjustable shoulder strap that makes it easy to lug around when not pushing it. The canopy adjustment can be a bit noisy which can disturb the sleep of a child.

1. Contours Itsy

The Contours Itsy is a compact stroller that offers many features for its size. The back basket under the seat is spring loaded, meaning that you can push it down to put bags for diapers or backpacks in and it will pop up to keep the contents. It also has a child's accessory holder as well as an adjustable seat pad that reclines. cheap single pushchair is more than you would get on a standard lightweight stroller.

It also comes with a canopy that can be closed and opened to get the level of sun protection you desire. The handlebars can be adjusted in height to ensure a comfortable fit in four different positions. We weren't so impressed with the quality of its ride on rough surfaces. We found that the suspension and wheels didn't perform a great job of absorbing bumps and shocks.

The stroller is perfect for travel since it comes assembled in the box. It only takes a few simple steps to be ready for use. The seat can be moved back and forward to adjust the recline. It's quite flat. It's a cinch to fold and unfold because of two buttons on the frame. And it fits into an extremely convenient bag for carrying when not in use. In fact, it's one of the most compact strollers we test, and it meets most airlines' requirements for gate-checking or cabin storage on planes. Make sure you consult with your airline prior to you fly, because rules can differ. 2. Kolcraft Cloud Plus

This stroller is an excellent option for those looking for an easy-to-travel stroller. It comes with everything parents want in a stroller. This includes all-terrain wheels and front suspension to ensure an easy ride. It's also very light with a weight of less than 12 pounds. It can be folded in one hand and stand up on its own. It even has an adult tray and a child tray each with two cup holders.

Its quality, though, is a little too low, and it did not perform well in our tests of maneuverability. It has a flexible frame, which makes pushing it across rough surfaces feel like lifting heavy weights. This may be okay for those who only use the stroller on smooth paths, but for the majority of people, it's likely to not be comfortable.

The Cloud Plus features a three-tiered extended canopy that has a peek-aboo window to provide additional sun protection. The seat is multi-position and can hold children up to 50 pounds and uses a five-point safety restraint. This is a great option for older toddlers that have outgrown their infant car seats.

It comes with a single-step and compact folding mechanism and can be folded with just a push of the button. It also comes with a convenient, foot-activated break that is simple to set up and release.

However, the handle is a bit lower than other strollers we've tested, and some parents may find it uncomfortable for long periods of time. It does have an adjustable handle lock that keeps it in place when opened, though. This is an excellent feature to have if are going to be using the stroller over uneven or muddy terrain.

3. Munchkin Sparrow

The Munchkin Sparrow stroller is the perfect travel stroller for parents who are always moving. This ultra-compact stroller is a breeze to fold down and up and easily fits in overhead compartments on planes, as well as in trunks at the amusement park (no need to worry about parking fees). It comes with a carrying bag that zips up for convenient storage. It can be used with the infant car adapter right from birth and provides excellent sun protection with its canopy. The only downside is that some parents find the style to be uninspiring and cheap.

The BabyZen Yoyo+ is a bit more expensive than the other single strollers with lightweights however it was made specifically for luxe travel and urban living. It's one of the smallest strollers to fold (and includes a convenient carry case), and it offers plenty of storage, including cups holder. The seat is comfortable for both the child and the adult and reclines to a near-flat position. This is the only stroller on our list that can be used by a newborn with the car seat adapter. The handlebar is not adjustable and could pose an issue for parents who are small.

The UPPAbaby Minu V2 may not be the lightest stroller, however it comes with a number of wonderful features that assist parents in traveling with their children. The spacious seat reclines to a flat position, and comes with extra padding so that the naps on planes last longer. The canopy that extends can provide excellent sun protection, and the tray has plenty of storage. It also has an adjustable handle that doubles as a footrest when folded. This footrest, however is prone to damage by baggage handlers.

4. Uppababy Mini V2

Uppababy Minu V2 is a stylish stroller that is stylish and has a premium design and quality. Its compact design allows it to easily navigate through tight spaces and narrow sidewalks and its robust construction allows it to handle rough terrain without compromising the safety of your child. The spring-action suspension in the front and back ensures more comfort for your child, and its sturdy materials ensure that it will endure the wear and tear of daily use. It can also be extended to accommodate other accessories such as an infant car seat.

In our testing, the Minu was easy to fold and maneuver even with a baby in hand. Its squat, almost square fold, that folds into thirds, is one of the easiest in our tests and allows it to fit in overhead compartments on planes or public transportation. It has a single-action, color-coded brake that is simple to use.

The seat reclines in various positions, and the leg rest can be adjusted with one hand, making it easy to find your child's perfect position. The UPF 50+ hood came down quite a bit, which was great to shield Cora's eyes from sun (though not quite as low as other strollers). The medium-sized mesh window is magnetically attached to the canopy and shuts without the use of noisy Velcro.

With a weight of just under 15 pounds at just under 15 pounds, the Minu is a breeze to carry with a built-in carry handle and a shoulder strap. It can be stored in the trunk of your car and comes with a storage container and Uppababy TravelSafe which extends the manufacturer's warranty by two years and includes the cost of replacement if something is damaged in the course of air travel.

5. Joovy Aire

Joovy is an established stroller brand offers a variety of models. This light model is a great choice for parents who are looking for a workhorse stroller that carts children around, provides ample storage, is fairly easy to move around and doesn't require a high engineering degree to fold. This model isn't suited for those looking for an additional stroller or car seat compatible model. It won't work with infant car seats, and your babies must be able to sit up on their own before they can use the stroller starting from the first day.

This stroller comes with a number of solid features and a price. It scored higher on our maneuverability test than other strollers with similar specifications. It's also a great choice for smooth paved surfaces. It also comes with a great canopy and plenty of storage space, including a large parent tray. The front wheel suspension is a bit stiff, and the handlebar is a bit smaller than average, but it offers an enjoyable ride for adults.

If you have twins, or two children of different ages you may consider a side-by-side stroller the best option to take them around. Our favorite is the Joovy Twin Groove, which offers plenty of features, and has a slim footprint that can be used in places that other side-by-side options can't.

It has a huge canopy and a peek-aboo window and plenty of storage. It's heavier than the other side-bysides but it has a reasonable capacity to handle the majority of children up to 50 pounds. You can add a bassinet on the front of the stroller to accommodate infants.

If you want a more luxurious version this stroller the Caboose Sit and Stand Stroller is a great alternative. It comes with the same great features as this model and comes with a bassinet to allow you to bring your baby home from the hospital with style.
