Italian supercar maker Lamborghini is looking to dip its toes into the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The new initiative - named the Space Key - is a piece of art made in collaboration with an artist who is not known. lamborghini revuelto key www.thekeylab.co.uk is a unique piece of digital art that is accessible via an QR code. The project is limited to five pieces and will be auctioned off in the coming weeks.

The Space Key is made of carbon composite material that Lamborghini, in the course of a research project in the year 2019 sent to the International Space Station. When it returned to earth, the carbon fiber was crafted into this unique artwork. The physical piece is inscribed with an NFT serial number that ties to the corresponding digital artwork with a QR code on the back.

For those who do not aware, NFTs are unique identifiers stored on a blockchain ledger and tied to an digital asset such as a photo, video or any other recording. This allows owners to ensure authenticity, scarcity, and trackability of their tokens on the internet.

Lamborghini is taking this unique approach to art by working with NFT PRO - an white label NFT solution for businesses. In the coming weeks, Lamborghini will reveal details about this exciting venture. This will include the names of the artists unknown to them and a timetable for auction.

The physical element of Space Key

After a series of social media posts that tease something space-themed, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has entered the world of tokens that are not fungible (NFT) with an exclusive project called Space Key. The NFT was created in collaboration with a mysterious artist and will be auctioned off in just a few weeks. Its underlying structure is comprised of an advanced carbon fibre composite material, which was delivered to the International Space Station in 2019 as part of a study. Carbon fiber was 3D-printed for the base of each Space Key. Each Space Key is linked to an exclusive digital artwork by way of the QR code. Only five Space Keys have been produced.

NFTs are unique identifications that can be recorded in distributed ledgers such as the Blockchain, and linked to a digital asset like images. They're the latest trend among people with more money than sense, so it was only a matter of time before an automaker decided to cash in on the trend.

Space Key consists of five units and was built with a physical part of carbon fiber composite, which was sent to the ISS in the year 2019. Each NFT is linked to an exclusive digital artwork by the same artist through a QR code printed on the back of the carbon fiber element. More details will be shared in the coming days and weeks, including the artist's name who created the digital art work and how to purchase one of the five Space Keys.

The digital artwork

After weeks of social media posts that hinted at it, luxury car maker Lamborghini finally revealed its first initiative for tokens that are non-fungible (NFT). The Space Key is a collection of five items that unlocks a unique digital artwork by an unidentified artist. The 'collectors piece' was developed in collaboration with NFTPRO(tm) and is limited to just five units. It will be auctioned soon.

The heart of every Space Key is a block of advanced carbon fire composite material that was sent to the International Space Station in 2019 as part of a research project. After returning to Earth, the block was inscribed with a QR code that links to the digital element in the Space Key.

Each of the five Space Keys will feature a separate moment that occurs seconds apart as the Lamborghini Ultimae lifts off toward the stars. More than 600 million pixels make up each of the five images that were taken by photographer Fabian Oefner.

Oefner utilized a balloon with a camera, which took each of the individual shots, which were then combined into the final image. The result is an out-of-this world photo that captures the beauty of Earth and the futuristic, hyper-realistic picture of the car erupting from it. The Space Keys are going to be auctioned soon, but there is no specific date or time yet.

The auction

Lamborghini the luxury automaker, has entered the world non-fungible tokens (NFTs) with the slogan "to the moon". The project was created in collaboration with NFTPRO(tm). The Space Key is essentially an NFT that contains carbon fiber composite material that actually was sent to the International Space Station in 2019 for research purposes. The physical sample was then shaped into five unique pieces that connect to exclusive digital artworks designed exclusively by an artist who has not yet been announced via the QR code.

The auctions will run between February 1 and February 4. They will last 75 hours and 50 mins - the time it took Apollo 11 for him to leave Earth and enter the Lunar orbit. The five NFTs are available for bidding by making an online registration. Each NFT will be auctioned off separately and the winner will get a digital artwork by renowned photographer Fabian Oefner that captures five different moments the Space Key experienced during its flight through space.

More details about the Space Key and its accompanying digital artworks will be announced in the coming weeks, including the identity of the unknown artist as well as information on how to purchase these extraordinary creations. Follow Lamborghini on Instagram for all of the details you require!
