Why Nobody Cares About Petron Key To Lamborghini
Lamborghini Enters the World of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)

After a string of social media posts suggesting it, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini finally announced its NFT (non fungible token) Project. Space Key, developed by a non-publicized artist, and based on cutting-edge carbon fiber composite materials that were sent to the International Space Station as research material, is a project that has been announced by Lamborghini.

In collaboration with NFT PRO(tm).

Italian supercar maker Lamborghini is dipping its toes into the world of non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The latest project - dubbed the Space Key - is a work of art that was created in collaboration with a lone artist. The unique NFT is a tangible object which connects to a unique digital artwork that can be accessed via an QR code printed on the back. The project is limited to five pieces and will be auctioned off in the coming weeks.

The Space Key is made of carbon composite material which Lamborghini, in the course of a research project in the year 2019 and sent to the International Space Station. The carbon fiber was then transformed into a unique art work when it returned to Earth. The physical piece has an NFT serial number that is linked to the digital artwork through a QR code on the rear.

NFTs, for those not familiar are unique identifiers which are stored on a distributed ledger of the blockchain and connected to digital assets such as a picture or video, song or other record. This allows owners to verify the authenticity, scarcity, and the traceability of their tokens on the internet.

Working with NFT PRO, a white-label NFT solution for businesses, Lamborghini has taken this unique approach to art to the next level. Over the next few weeks Lamborghini will be sharing details about the exciting project including the name of the unknown artist as well as a timeline for the auction.

The physical element of Space Key

In the wake of numerous social media posts teasing some kind of space-themed item, Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has entered the world of tokens that aren't fungible (NFT) by launching an exclusive project dubbed Space Key. Developed in collaboration with an unidentified artist The NFT is a collector's piece that will be auctioned off in a few weeks. At its heart is a piece of high-tech carbon fiber composite material that was shipped to the International Space Station (ISS) in the year 2019 as part of a research project. Carbon fiber was 3D-printed for the base of every Space Key. Each Space Key is linked to an exclusive, digital artwork using a QR code. Only five Space Keys were produced.

NFTs are unique identifiers that are recorded on distributed ledgers, such as the Blockchain and linked to digital assets such as pictures. They're a hot topic for those with more money than So it was only a matter time before an automaker decided to cash in on the trend.

Space Key consists of five units. It was constructed with a physical part of carbon fiber composite which was delivered to the ISS in 2019. Each NFT will be equipped with an QR code that connects it to a special digital art work by the same artist. More details will be revealed in the coming days and weeks including the artist's name who created the digital art work and how to purchase one of the five Space Keys.

The digital artwork

After weeks of social-media posts hinting at it, the luxury car maker Lamborghini finally revealed its first venture for non-fungible tokens (NFT). The Space Key is a collection of five items that unlocks an exclusive digital artwork by a yet to be identified artist. The collectors' item was developed in collaboration with NFTPRO(tm) and is limited to just five units. It will be auctioned off soon.

Each Space Key contains a block comprised of the most advanced carbon-fire composite material. It was shipped to the International Space Station as part of a research project in 2019. After returning to Earth it was imprinted with an QR code that connects it to the digital component of the Space Key.

Each of the five Space Keys features a different moment that occurs at different times as the Lamborghini Ultimae takes off towards the stars. Over 600 million pixels make each of the five images which were taken by photographer Fabian Oefner.

Oefner utilized a balloon with a camera, which took each of the individual shots, which were later merged into the final image. The result is a picture that is out of this world. It captures both the beauty of Earth and the futuristic, hyperrealistic picture of a car rising from the Earth. The Space Keys are going to be auctioned soon, but there isn't a specific date or location yet.

The auction

With the tagline 'to the moon', luxury automobile manufacturer Lamborghini has entered the realm of non-fungible tokens (NFT) by launching a hypnotic project in collaboration with NFT PRO(tm). The Space Key is an NFT that is made up of composite carbon fiber that was actually transported to the International Space Station for research purposes in 2019. The physical sample has now been shaped into five unique objects that connect to exclusive digital artworks by an undisclosed artist via the QR code that is on their backs.

The auctions, which take place between February 1 through February 4, will last for 75 hours and 50 minutes - the same time it took for Apollo 11 to leave Earth and enter the lunar orbit. The five NFTs can be purchased by registering online. Each NFT will be sold separately and the winner will get an original digital artwork created by world-renowned photographer Fabian Oefner that captures five different moments the Space Key experienced during its flight in outer space.

In the coming weeks, we'll be revealing all the details about the Space Key as well as the digital artworks that go with it. This includes the identity of the unknown creator as well as the method of purchasing these amazing creations.
