Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Key Features
If you're looking for an automobile to be shrewd, practical and fuel-efficient the Lamborghini isn't a good choice. But if you're the kind of person who laps the Nurburgring Nordschleife during your lunch break or would like to make a huge impression at your next dinner event it's the perfect choice.
Even though the greasy surface of Estoril and strong winds stripped the SVJ of some of its more visceral capabilities It still was an impressive machine.
Exterior
The Lamborghini Aventador SVJ will impress you and your friends whether you want to lap the famous Nurburgring Nordschleife (12.9 miles) or just impress them with your speed. This gigantic beast packs the power of land sharks into an aerodynamic package that gives you impressive acceleration and top speeds. The Aventador SVJ is equipped with a rear-wheel steer system, which gives it a sense of agility that you would not expect for an automobile of this size.
The Aventador isn't a car that's easy to drive, especially when pushed to the limit. Its huge V12 is built to tear down racetracks and a ticking of the redline can produce a wail loud enough to make a Tyrannosaurus fear you. Even in the supposedly benign Strada Mode, the Aventador SVJ engine can kick you back and cause you to think about your life choices.
However, the best aspect of the Aventador SVJ isn't how fast it can go or how much it is able to out-gun a Chevy Suburban on racetracks. It's not the speed or the speed you can reach and the reaction of those who see you drive it. It's similar to an ad-hoc road-cleaning "Marie Kondo", to use a phrase from the book with the same name. The Aventador SVJ loves to make people look up and take a moment to stop. The Key Lab 's like tapping into a primordial memory of what a sports car actually is.
Interior
The striking design of the fighter plane of the cabin (start button hidden behind an orange flip cover as well as a shifter that looks like an accelerator on a jet) is complemented by levers for controlling the drive modes and setting up performance settings. Faux-suede and carbon fiber trim are all around, while an infotainment screen that isn't too big and adjustable gauges look straight out of an Audi. The back seat can be used by three or more people, according to how the seating configuration is set.
Under the louvered carapace beneath the louvered carapace, 6.5-liter V12 delivers 770 horsepower and 720 pound-feet of torque. Lamborghini promises 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and the top speed is 217 mph.
Lamborghini's air-vectoring technology is an absolute joy to use and a display on the instrument cluster lets you observe it at work (though at speeds where this technology shines, you may not be looking at the gauges). The brakes are a bit stiff to start but stop the SVJ with ferocity, and a sturdiness that is worthy of the great white shark.
Unless you are a sober person who is looking for a sensible fuel efficiency and room for five people, the SVJ isn't worth your time. But if you're one of those who get an unreal smile on your face when a well-tuned 1970s Italian V12 fed by six Weber twin carburetors goes up, then it might be. If the engine of the wild tiger sounds as good as the exterior, better.
Performance
With the SVJ, Lamborghini continues to stray away from its land-shark style and move more towards the modern, easily drivable supercar that is driven by a wide range of drivers. The SVJ is still a powerful car with lots of design. The 6.5-liter V12 accelerates from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and can attain a maximum speed of 217 mph.
The second-generation Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva system (ALA 2.0) allows for a change in the flow of air around the vehicle in accordance with the driving conditions. The front wing flaps open for downforce, while the flaps on the rear are closed to reduce drag. Split-wing features can also redirect air to either side to increase downforce in one direction.
Strada is an alternative to driving in a street-oriented manner that optimizes the steering, engine, and suspension for street use. The Corsa mode focuses everything on track performance, while Ego allows the driver to customize the car's settings themselves.
The SVJ comes with a wide range of exterior and interior options as well as an electronic key fob that can change color. Contact our Palm Beach dealership to schedule a test-drive if you want to experience this stunning car for yourself.
Technology
With its cutting-edge carbon fiber, engine that has been reworked, and a new generation of aerodynamics, Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster is the ultimate version of this legendary model. Its imposing and muscular bodywork is designed to maximize downforce while reducing drag thanks to its extensive air intakes sharp lines and sculpted surfaces. The SVJ includes Lamborghini's latest Ad Personam Program, which allows owners of the car to customise it with distinctive colors and trim parts.
The SVJ improves the Huracan’s already impressive performance. The car's all-wheel drive front-wheel steering, as well as the new rear-steering systems combine with its existing stability control system to create a car that inspires confidence. Its 6.5-liter V12 produces more horsepower and torque, allowing it to go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds.
The SVJ's enhancements are enough to put it in a class with the Ferrari 812 Superfast. What sets it apart from other cars is how much fun it is to drive around every quiet country road and straightaway on the highway that is empty. The Aventador is a well-tuned 1970s Italian V12 equipped with six Weber twin carburetors. It sings to delight all who hear it. The Aventador's rear exhaust and diffuser are just as extravagant, as does its V12 engine.
