Top Single Strollers
There is no universal stroller that is universal. There are models that are full-size strollers and travel products.
The Colugo is easy to fold with just one hand and comes with an adjustable strap for carrying at the back. This allows you to carry it around or check it out in case your overhead bins are full.
TAVO Next
The TAVO Next is the perfect stroller for parents who are looking for versatility with a light design. It folds with one hand, stands upright for storage and comes with plenty of compatible accessories--including a bassinet stand, baby snack tray, rain cover and wheeled travel bag (sold separately) to give you everything you need in a single stroller.
Nuna's most popular TAVO is now available in a brand new version with a variety of smart upgrades to improve the user's comfort and ease of use. For starters, the TAVO Next is lighter than the previous model and features a a new compact fold-away axle and a new suspension design. The 2021 TAVO also includes more storage space as well as a five-position adjustable footrest and a luxe leatherette accents on the arm bar.
Another big upgrade is the TAVO Next's intelligent, self-guiding magnetic buckle, which automatically secures itself and makes securing your child easier than ever before. This is a major draw for many parents, since it can be difficult to keep the floppy children in a harness. The TAVO also has an extra-large expandable Sky smart UPF 50+ canopy that provides a wide sun coverage, with multiple vents and windows and an all-season seat that can be removed to reveal breathable mesh when the temperatures heat up.
Lastly, the TAVO Now is the first stroller in Nuna's PIPA series to turn into a travel system with one click, with no adapters required. Pair it with the Nuna Pipa Aire RX infant car seat to create a sleek, practical and secure Travel System for any trip you're planning.
Baby Jogger City Select 2
The City Select 2 stroller was released in the summer of 2021, replacing the previous City Select and City Select Lux strollers. It comes with 24 different seating configurations, and can be made into an all-in-one stroller by adding the glider board. (second seat and car seat are sold separately). Get More folds 20% smaller than previous models and weighs a little over five pounds less. It comes with a variety of accessories, including a bellybar (included in the Eco Collection version), another seat as well as a console for parents and a handmuff.
Our testers with parents loved the large storage basket which can accommodate a large amount of gear. The seats reclined effortlessly and there was plenty of room for the kids. The brake pedal is easily accessible and can be operated using one hand. While the stroller is long and harder to maneuver, it is worth the extra space for parents who prefer roomy strollers.
The City Select 2 is also compatible with Baby Jogger infant car seats, Britax, Graco Chicco, Maxi-Cosi and Graco (adapters are sold separately). This means that you can choose to use a single or a double stroller for your baby from birth until well beyond toddlerhood.
The stroller might not be cheap however, it's likely to be the only one you will ever need. If you can afford it, we think it is worth the investment. This is particularly true when you consider the quality and durability of the construction. The finish is stunning and the fabric connections are sturdy without rumpled. The 5-point harness snaps effortlessly together, and has a few adjustments and is suitable for children of all sizes. The seat cover can be machine washed in cold water. Most testers were able to take it off and replace.
Delta Children LX Side-by-Side
If you need a double stroller that's easy carry and can fit into tight spaces, the Delta Children LX Side by Side is a good option. The stroller weighs 20 pounds and has seats that hold kids up to 50 pounds each. The large canopy provides protection from rain, wind and sun. The seats also recline to provide comfort for children. The stroller is a little shorter than other strollers in our test and can be opened to a width of 29 inches which is enough to fit through standard 30'' doorways.
This product earned a low grade for ease of use in our test, but that's largely because it's so bare-bones there are no storage bins or deep recline in the seats, and the only parent cup holder is a tiny plastic container that sits on the handlebars. It has a 5-point safety harness with double-rethread straps that are simpler to adjust than those on other strollers.
In the course of testing, we evaluated the ease of being able to turn, fold, and maneuver the products. The ability to fold and unfold is one of the most important features for travel strollers because they typically have limited storage space inside the trunk of the car. Strollers that fold easily and in a couple of steps, as well as those with automatic locks scored higher. Strollers that are upright when folded and can be folded using a single hand also received high scores.
The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 was the most simple to push and turn. The Mountain Buggy Nano took a bit more effort, but performed well in our tests. The brand new Delta Children LX side by side is extremely light with a an easy-to-fold frame that's as smaller than some of the best umbrella strollers. Its bare-bones design and wallet-friendly cost make it a desirable option for parents looking for a travel stroller that's easy to carry, lift and store.
Mockingbird
The mockingbird is a multi-faceted songbird with the ability to imitate other birds and sounds. It can mimic car alarms and has an array of sounds. However, certain species of mockingbirds are endangered. The northern mockingbird (Mimus polyglottos) is an extremely common bird in many cities and suburbs. It is one of the most widespread songbirds in North America and can be found all over the United States. It is also fiercely territorial and protects its territory. It attacks intruders, including hawks and house pets even if they are larger than the mockingbird.
The Mockingbird is a plain-looking bird that weighs less than two ounces. Its length is between nine and eleven inches in length, including its tail. Females and males look alike, but the male has an elongated head. Mockingbirds are monogamous, and typically are a couple for life. Mockingbirds construct nests using nests that were built partially prior to the year. They have two to four broods per year and average 4 eggs in each. The mockingbird is skilled in mimicry, and it can imitate songs of other animals, like catbirds, owls and thrashers.
People used to keep mockingbirds in captivity as pets. Their population plummeted dramatically in the 19th century. The Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918 protected the bird from captivity and egg-collecting However, other human-related threats remain. The northern mockingbird for example, is vulnerable to pesticide poisoning and collisions with buildings. The Floreana mockingbird is in danger and the Espanola mockingbird is critically endangered with a narrow area of range and a very small population. Mockingbirds are a beloved symbol in southern culture, appearing in literature, folk tales and art. It is the bird of state of Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi. Harper Lee's bestselling novel To Kill a Mockingbird also included the bird. The novel is about race and loss innocence.
Colugo
The Colugo is a large stroller that folds into smaller footprint. It's an excellent choice for air travelers and fits into the overhead compartment. The lightweight design and compact fold along with the simple operation make it a perfect option for families on the go.
The stroller includes a backpack for carrying and shoulder strap for quick transfers to the car or subway stairs as well as a rain cover, cup holder and snack tray. This makes it a perfect choice for parents who don't have a car seat, but need the features of a larger stroller.
One-handed maneuverability is an added bonus, and the Colugo can be pushed from side to side much more easily than the Yoyo. The Colugo comes with a bigger sunshade, and it can be retracted to nearly flat to make it easier to sleep. The Colugo also has some extra features that the Yoyo does not, such as an extra footrest for longer journeys and an attached cool seat ($40) that helps prevent sweaty babies during hot days.
The Colugo is a relatively new company that was established in 2017 by the Colugo's founders who realized that shopping for strollers was overwhelming and difficult. They wanted to design a stroller that was simple to use, and that would meet the demands of urban life. Their first stroller was the Colugo Compact Stroller, which they followed up with this year's full version, designed for families that do not require a car seat. The Colugo is sold directly to consumers and comes with a 100-day trial period which is a great way to test the stroller prior to making the decision to purchase. The price is a bit higher than standard strollers, but for what you get the Colugo is worth it.
