Are You Making The Most You Cheap Single Pushchair?
Cheap Single Pushchairs

If you're on a tight budget and don't need a stroller that can double into car seat carriers The Babyzen Yoyo is a good option. It comes with a flip-flop-friendly one-step footbrake.

It's also easy to push and feels solid in navigating kerbs or woodland paths. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned itself a reputation as the ultimate light-weight buggy for city dwellers and jet-setters alike, thanks to its super nimble manoeuvrability and fold-down that fits into the overhead luggage of an aeroplane. This latest version boasts independent suspension on all four wheels made from Hytrel elastomer to 'perfectly navigate all types of surface and terrain'.

The YOYO2 frame base along with the curved fabric bassinet and the 6+ month color pack make a stylish and elegant pushchair that's easy to look at and has a subtle but elegant aesthetic and tasteful branding. The frame's weight alone is less than a kilo and is so light that you can easily lift it out of the box (and do it with one hand).

It's also simple to add or remove attachments or adaptors such as the hood, for instance, snaps onto the YOYO2 by clicking - as well as being machine washable at 30 degrees to help deter stains from smushed rice cakes and half-dissolved carrot puffs. It can be used as a pram from birth using the Newborn Pack or bassinet, or converted into stroller at 6 months old by clicking on the YOYO Connect additional chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great option for parents seeking an adaptable stroller. The Evenflo Xplore can be converted from a stroller into a wagon by simply flipping the handle. Parents can then choose the best mode for their adventure. The wagon can accommodate two or three children ranging from 6 months to 5 years old. It has a huge storage basket that can accommodate all your needs when you are on the move.

The Xplore comes with two canopy options that are able to rotate from front to back, ensuring adequate sun protection for all family members. It has a smaller footwell than other wagons. This might not be ideal for long drives or napping.

The frame on the Xplore feels sturdy and solid but it doesn't have the same flexibility as other wagons we tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it isn't able to lock securely after folding. It is easy to move, however, and fits through narrow doors of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side

This Delta Children bare-bones travel stroller is a great option for parents looking for a secondary stroller that's affordable. It scored highly in our Strollers & Multiples Test for weight and fold dimensions, meaning it is lightweight and compact when folded and easy to carry and put in a trunk for your car. It also features a reclined seat that can be reclined in several positions as well as cup holders for the parent. Other key features include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree front wheels that are shock-absorbing.

It performed better in our push and turn test than a lot of the other strollers we tested, but it is nonetheless difficult to maneuver on uneven ground or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only direct overhead coverage and no windows that peek out. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have much larger sunshades.

It took us just under 3 minutes to assemble the Delta using a standard manual. The parts are all non-required and required tools. It's lacking certain features we consider essential in a double stroller. They include a large basket, reclining seats and adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is Maxi-Cosi's newest pushchair and is marketed as a travel system for urban use. It is designed to carry infants from birth until approximately 3.5 years, converting easily between a seat and a carrycot with a few clicks. It is compatible with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It comes with a lightweight Mico 30 infant seat, a stay-in car-base and a reversible baby carriage.

The seat can be reclined with one hand and the large shopping basket makes it simple for parents to take their child in and out. This compact pushchair can handle every day bumps and doors with ease.

The front wheels are able to be locked in a forward-facing position, or they can rotate. This is useful for navigating through rough terrain. While walking through the stony trail, we allowed them to swivel and it performed well although it did seem a little bumpier than others on test.

5. single buggy with buggy board is famous for their three-wheeled, all-terrain jogging pushchairs, but they also make a good assortment of strollers with four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most sought-after models. It is easy to use and folds down small enough to fit into the car boot, even with the carrycot attached.

It weighs more than other strollers we test, but since it has rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-made. It is easy to maneuver on different terrains, and even with two kids as well as a shopping bag and other items.

The carrycot and the seat both have hoods that can be pulled down to reveal UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are showerproof and sturdy, unlike some other prams' hoods which are whipped back into toddlers' faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space, but it does have a large basket that's deep enough for a changing bag as well as plenty of food items. It can also be used with a Baby Jogger car seat for babies up 20 lbs (car seat and adapters are available separately). The City Tour 2 is a excellent choice if you wish to use a stroller on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first appeared on the scene it stole the hearts of parents all over the world. It's a stroller made of aluminum that can see you through your baby's early days and beyond. It has many standout features, such as the capacity of the seat to flip between the parent and the world as well as a large UPF50+ canopy that has an eye shade that flips out, and an adjustable handlebar.

The chassis is equipped with an integrated suspension system which reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made of tough foam, which reduces punctures. It was simple to push and our tester was able manoeuvre the vehicle through tight streets.

It folds down in four easy steps and automatically locks without fuss. It is also able to stand and be rolled around for easier transportation in the trunk of your car or down the stairs at home. The travel system comes available with the option of adding an additional car seat or carrycot by using the adaptors that are included. The brakes come with one action and are colour coded. They also can be used with flip-flops.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget single pushchair is surprisingly easy to handle and comes with excellent dual suspension, a one-hand fold and a convenient carry strap. It's also extremely light and robust. The seat is reclined in various positions. It also is equipped with a double-breathable mattress that can be used for babies from birth.

The canopy/seat has two extra-large fixed or flip out sun visors, both of which are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't great it's not as quiet as Velcro and could wake sleepy babies.

The Duet is a stroller with an angled design that can be used for twins or siblings. (Up to 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and even works with some carrycots. In twin mode, the seats can be placed so that they face each one. They can also be set to face the parents. This will help reduce sibling arguments over who sits with mom and dad. It comes with a large gear tray as well as a bottle holder and snack trays. It also has a superior compact stand fold and automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2.

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger designed for parents who like to stay active. It is one of the lightest strollers that you can purchase for your child. It also comes with excellent safety features, including a 5-point safety harness as well as a wrist safety strap. It also comes with a twist hand brake that's different than the lever type that is found on other models.

The seat is padded and provides a wide area to sit. However the seat's depth is less than that of other runners (it's just about 10 inches") The storage bin is covered with a zipper to keep things safe. It can hold up to 10 pounds that is enough for most diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters for most bassinets and infant car seats however, you can use them starting from the first day with adapters that will fit brands like BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It's easy to fold and put together within 5-10 minutes, without tools. The manual is easy to comprehend and contains multiple languages.
