7 Things About Cheap Single Pushchair You'll Kick Yourself For Not Knowing
Cheap Single Pushchairs

The Babyzen Yoyo stroller is a good option if you are on a tight budget and do not need a stroller that can be used as car seat carriers. It has a simple, one-step foot brake that's flip flop user-friendly.

It's also a breeze to push and feels sturdy in navigating kerbs or woodland paths. It's also a breeze to fold.

1. Babyzen YOYO2

The Babyzen YOYO2 has earned a name as the ultimate lightweight buggy for jet-setters and city dwellers alike, due to its nimble maneuverability and fold that fits in the overhead luggage of aeroplanes. This latest version boasts independent suspension on all four wheels, made of Hytrel Elastomer, which allows it to effortlessly navigate all types of surface and terrain'.

single seat buggy curved fabric bassinet, base YOYO2 and the 6+ months colour pack combine to create a chic pushchair that has a soft elegant design. The frame's base weight is less than a kilogram, and is so light you can lift it out of the box with one hand.

The hood, for example is able to snap onto the YOYO2 with a reassuring way. It is machine washable up to 30 degrees, which helps to prevent the stains that result from smushed rice cakes and carrot puffs. The Newborn Pack and bassinet can be used from birth as an infant stroller. It can also be converted into a stroller after 6 months by using the YOYO connect other chassis.

2. Evenflo Pivot Xplore

Evenflo Pivot Xplore stroller wagon is a great option for parents seeking an adaptable stroller. It can be converted from a stroller to wagon by simply turning the handle, meaning parents can select the mode they prefer for their journey. The wagon can fit two or three children ranging from 6 months to five years old. It has a large storage basket that will hold everything you need when you are on the move.

The Xplore also comes with two canopies that move from the front to the back, offering ample sun protection for all family members. It also has a footwell that's not as deep or large as other wagons, which means it may not be ideal for long-distance excursions or for napping.

The frame of the Xplore feels sturdy and solid but it doesn't have the same flexibility as other wagons we have tested. It is also more difficult than other wagons to fold, and it's not able to lock tight after folding. It is easy to move however, and it can fit through narrow doors of 28 inches.

3. Delta Children LX Side by Side

This bare-bones double stroller from Delta Children is an excellent option for parents who want an affordable second stroller for their travels. It earned an eye-catching score in our Strollers & Multiples test for weight and folded size, which means it's very lightweight, small when collapsed and easy to put into a car trunk or closet. It also has an adjustable recline seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions and cup holders for the parent. Other key features include two large hanging storage bags and 360-degree shock-absorbing front wheels.

It did better in our push and turn test than many of the other strollers we tested but is still difficult to maneuver over uneven ground or through narrow doors. Its sunshades are among the ones we tested the smallest, providing only a direct overhead coverage and no peekaboo windows. The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 and Zoe Twin+ have larger canopy sizes.

It took us less than 3 minutes to assemble the Delta with a standard manual. All of the components required tools. However, it's missing some critical features we believe you should not compromise on for a double stroller such as an extra-large basket and reclining seats with adjustable leg rests.

4. Maxi-Cosi Zelia 2-in-1

The Zelia is the latest model in Maxi-Cosi's range of pushchairs and is described as an urban travel system. It is designed to take babies from birth to approximately 3.5 years old, easily changing into a seat and carrycot in just a few clicks. It can be used with Maxi Cosi capsule car seats. It includes a light Mico 30 infant seat, a car-base that stays in the car and a reversible car seat.

It's a breeze to maneuver and the one-hand reclining of the seat as well as the super large shopping basket make it easy for parents to get their child out and in quickly. Despite this being quite narrow, the pushchair handled the everyday bumps well and went through doorways without any fuss.

The front wheels can be locked into an forward position or let them swivel which can be helpful when crossing rough terrain. While walking on the stony path, we let them swivel and it performed well, though it did appear more bumpy than the other models that we tested.

5. Baby Jogger City Tour 2

Baby Jogger is most well-known for its 3-wheeled all-terrain, jogging strollers. But they also manufacture a vast variety of pushchairs that have four wheels. The City Tour 2 is one of their most popular models. It is easy to use and folds down small enough to fit into a car boot even with the carrycot attached.

It weighs more than other strollers that we test, but since it has rubber composite wheels, it feels sturdy and well-made. It is able to maneuver effortlessly across all types of terrain and it's easy to move even with two kids and a shopping bag.

The seat and carrycot both come with hoods with pull-down UV50+ sun canopy extensions. They are strong and waterproof, unlike other hoods for prams, which can be blown back onto toddlers faces.

It doesn't have a lot of storage space but it has a large basket deep enough to hold a change bag or plenty of groceries. It can also be linked with the Baby Jogger infant car seat to create a travel system for babies up to 20 pounds (car seat and adapters are sold separately). The City Tour 2 is a good choice if you want to use a stroller on the go.

6. Nuna Mixx Next

When the Nuna Mixx first rolled onto the scene, it instantly captured the hearts of parents all over the world. It's a stroller made of aluminum that will see you through your baby's initial days and beyond. It comes with a variety of stand-out features including the possibility of flipping the seat from parent to the world, a large UPF 50+ canopy with an eye-shade that flips out, a spacious basket and adjustable handlebar.

The chassis has a suspension system built-in that reduces the impact of bumpy terrain. The wheels are made of tough foam and reduce punctures. It was simple to push, and our tester was able manoeuvre the vehicle through the narrow streets.

It folds down in four easy steps and locks automatically with no fuss. It can also stand and be rolled around for easier transportation in the car's boot or down the stairs at home. It also comes travel system ready with the option to add a car seat and a carrycot using the included adaptors. The brakes are simple to use with single action color coded and flip-flop compatible.

7. Babyzen Duet

This budget pushchair is easy to use and comes with a great dual suspension. It can be folded by one hand and comes with a convenient carrying strap. It's also super lightweight and robust. The seat is reclined in various positions. It also has a built-in double breathable mattress that's suitable from birth.

The canopy/seat comes with two large sun visors that are fixed or removed. Both are UPF50+. However the toggle closure isn't perfect it's not as quiet as Velcro and may wake napping babies.

The Duet is a side-by-side stroller and can be set up to take twins or siblings (up to a maximum of 22kg per seat). It is compatible with two infant car seats and even can be used with carrycots. In twin mode seats, the seats can be placed so that they face each other. They can also be oriented towards the parents. This can help to lessen sibling fights over who gets seated with dad and mom. It comes with a large tray for gears with a bottle holder as well as snack trays. It also has a superior compact stand fold, and an automatic frame lock.

8. Baby Jogger Urban Glide 2

The Thule Urban Glide 2 is a jogger for parents who love to be active. It's one of the lightest strollers that you can purchase for your child. It also has great safety features, like the 5-point safety harness and wrist safety straps. It also features a twist hand brake which is different than the lever type used on rival models.

The seat is padded and offers a large area to sit. However the seat's isn't as deep as those of other joggers (it's just about 10 inches") The storage bin is secured with a zipper to keep things safe. It can hold up to 10 pounds. It is enough for the majority of diaper bags.

The Urban Glide 2 doesn't come with adapters that will fit the majority of infant car seats and bassinets however, you can use them from the very first day with adapters that fit brands like BOB, Graco Combi Evenflo Britax UPPAbaby. It folds down compactly and takes 5-10 minutes to put together with no tools. The manual is easy-to-understand and includes multiple languages.
