Top 5 Cheap Single Buggy Strollers
The most efficient single-buggy is one with a reclining chair and a basket of a reasonable size. It also has the ability to move smoothly across a variety of terrains.
The phil&teds Go(tm) is an excellent option for those on a tight budget, but still want the convenience of double strollers. This compact travel buggy is compact and easy to fit into the back of a car or an airplane.
1. Pockitti GB Pockit
If you're looking for a stroller that can fold down to the size of a purse and can be tucked away in an overhead storage space or a locker on an plane and is lightweight, the GB Pockit might be the perfect choice for your family. This stroller holds the Guinness World Record for the most compact folding stroller. It is able to accommodate children between six months and 55 lbs. However, it is not designed for infants.
The foldable, lightweight stroller weighs just 11.8 x 7.1 inches x 20.3 inches. It can be easily stored in your car boot or purse. The front wheels swivel but can also lock straight to handle tough mom terrain like playground gravel or mulch paths. The Pockit is an excellent stroller for parents who frequently travel but it's not the ideal model for everyday use since it doesn't come with the cup holder or upper stroller storage. This flaw is addressed by the pricier gb Pockit+, which features the largest seat with more neoprene padding and a zippered pocket at the back of the seat.
This stroller was the perfect companion for our travels. It's small enough to fit into the compartment for luggage in trains and under the seat in front of you on an airplane, or in the overhead bin of an airline regardless of the cabin's size. It's also easy to maneuver around the crowded shopping areas and slip easily into tight turnstiles on subways or busses. The Pockit is a unique product, but it's a great option for parents or frequent travelers with limited storage space. It's available in Monument Black and weighs just 9.2 pounds.
2. gb Pockit+
The stripped-back tiny iconic stroller from the brand of parenting Goodbaby that recently merged with Cybex it has been upgraded with front-swivel single wheels and is now travel system compatible. This stroller folds down to an extremely compact size that can be stored anywhere. It measures just L20 xW32 xH38 cm. It's also compatible with airline hand luggage and is ideal for parents with busy schedules or frequent traveller.
The gb Pockit+ features a step-less recline feature that allows the seat to be lowered to a sitting position for a comfortable, adjustable comfort while still keeping baby standing upright. Front wheel suspension increases usability and comfort for urban commuters who travel on uneven surfaces, while the sun canopy provides increased UV protection.
It's easy to maneuver through tight spaces, like the narrow aisles of supermarkets, train carriageways, or crowded city streets. However, it has issues when it comes to rough terrain or navigating steep hills. The handlebar is fragile and the brake is slap directly in the middle of the bar, so it can be difficult to reach. The footrest, which is a bit short and has only two positions (up or down) is also an issue.
The 2018 GB Pockit+ includes a few new features like adapters for GB or Cybex infant car seats and a bigger sun canopy. Despite the added features it's still one of the smallest strollers that fold and weighs only 5.7 kg making it easy to lift, carry and maneuver. The stroller is also suitable to be used as a 3-in-1 system by simply clicking on the adapters to attach your Cot To Go or GB/Cybex capsule and enjoy ultimate newborn freedom and ease. Moreover, the Pockit+ has been cleverly created to stand on its own when folded and is ideal for storing items at your favorite café at the airport, at your home.
3. Le Clerc Influencer XL
This stroller is perfect for those looking for a stroller that has XL features. It offers a comfortable and relaxing ride for your baby. Its large wheels allow it to navigate any terrain. It also features a backrest that can be adjusted into three different positions. You can alter the positioning of the backrest to ensure that your child is sleeping comfortably.

The Leclerc Influencer XL stroller is available in black and comes with an unbeatable gift worth PS25 (see the end of this article for more details). It's suitable for children from 6 months to 5 years, or from birth if you add the carrycot. You can also use it with a car seat using the adapters for car seats included.
Leclerc's new Influencer stroller has been designed for modern parents who are looking for an elegant, functional and durable stroller. Its sleek design, modern folding mechanism and high-quality materials show that it was designed with love. Its lightweight and 8.2 kg weight makes it a perfect option for those who live in urban areas and require a light, convenient stroller that will fit in their daily life.
It has an innovative folding mechanism that allows you to fold the stroller in only 1.5 seconds. It has larger wheels, a higher frame and can still fit into the aircraft compartment. The unique seating system ensures your child is comfortable on long flights and you can even choose to add a bassinet to transform it into a pram for your baby from the time of birth.
4. Evenflo Pivot Xplore
Evenflo sells this versatile wagon due to its ability switch between push and pull by flipping the handle. The all-terrain wheels allow it to traverse a variety of types of terrain. It can also hold 1 or 2 children as young as of five years, either in a stroller or wagon mode. It comes with a tray for kids and a handle that can be adjusted. Two canopy options provide additional sun protection. A large basket holds essentials for on-the-go.
It's a bit heavier than other wagons we've seen in our testing but feels sturdy and easy to push. Its handle is easy to adjust and it has a double-action brake to prevent the wagon from rolling away. It does not have the suspension that the GB Pockit+ and the Veer Cruiser has, which makes it less comfortable to ride in for infants.
The seats are cushioned but not ventilated and they don't recline. There is a footwell however it's not very wide or deep. Therefore, children might have difficulty to get into and out of the seat. It is fairly easy to clean, however there are a few places where crumbs tend to build up.
It is priced similarly to the Veer Expedition, but it surpasses it in a variety of categories, including steering and maneuverability. It also comes with an insert for bassinets that can accommodate infant car seats. This makes it a more practical choice for twins compared to the single-seat Xplore. It does not allow two car seats for infants simultaneously, which can restrict its use for a while. It does come with a limited warranty.
5. Britax B-Lively
The Britax B-Lively is a compact stroller with a spacious storage basket and a comfortable ride. It is designed to accommodate children up to 55 pounds and has a wide recline to allow napping. It is easy to fold it and open it. There is an locking mechanism that keeps the chair closed. The handlebar can be adjusted and can accommodate shorter or taller people, which is a nice feature for families that have many children with different heights. It doesn't come with the cup holder or snack tray, but there's a small zippered pouch inside the back to store keys and other items.
This is one the quietest strollers we've test. It's great for children who are asleep or parents who don't want to endure the stroller noise. It is easy to maneuver and has a large ventilated umbrella with an open window so you can watch your kids. It is available in various color options and can be converted into a travel system by using the Click and Go with any Britax infant car seat.
The Britax B Lively is surprisingly agile, even in tough terrains like gravel and grass. However, it does not perform well on hills that are sloped and is prone to slipping on uneven surfaces. It comes with adapters to use with a Britax car seats, however the user manual is ambiguous regarding which seats be compatible with it. The manufacturer's website also doesn't provide any details. This is a great option for families who already own an existing Britax child car seat. However, it is not a great choice for those looking for a stroller with a light weight to use with other brands of car seats.
