it was a good sunny morning, everyone training and no casualties. as well no Gojo Satoru to bother anybody.

usually when it was everyone's day off, Gojo would seem to be rather busy during those days. so it was a nice time to hang out with friends and train.

Gojo isn't a bad person per se.. despite being a good teacher and being the strongest, and it wouldn't be wrong wanting to always stick around him but his personality is a bit much for majority of the students, including the other teachers. in all honesty, the guy was just really annoying and would NOT stop bothering you once he's bored, at least that's what everyone else thought but Yuuji.

so yeah, what if everyone decided to hang out do whatever the hell they wanted and train till their bodies became sore just because their strongest "cool" teacher was busy during their day offs? even if Gojo knew about it.

"booo..... the students are having fun without me....." Gojo said with a pouty face and flapping his bottom lip with his finger

"what are you talking about?" Utahime snapped back, clearly annoyed of his presence. "ugh.. just do your work, Gojo. and quit doing that, it's irritating."

"yeah yeah.... whatever you say mom.."

"I will kill you!"

everyone was outside doing training, and just having fun hanging out. even if majority of the times they chatted were just them bantering or talking smack about a certain snowy white haired teacher

Yuuji was sitting on the grassy hill taking a small break also enjoying the fresh air and watching his friends train. Megumi was also with him, but he was under the tree where the shade can hit him. and of course, reading a book.

the leaves falling on the ground, the sun hitting on Yuuji, the fresh air and the comfortable sound of wind blowing the trees.

as well company of a person you enjoy spending time with.

"hey Fushiguro?" Yuuji said while fidgeting his hood string and not looking away from the others training

"mm?" Megumi hummed in response, eyes still glued to the book he was reading.

"are we friends? best friends? or..."

are we not friends?

Yuuji could practically feel Megumi's gaze on him. Slowly turning his head to avoid looking at the person he is currently near right now but still enough to see his other classmates just to distract from what he just asked. prepared for whatever answer he'll be given.

"Hah?" Megumi closed his book and put it down on the grass. "Itadori, what are you saying right now?" with a harsh tone, which might not have been on purpose!

at least that's what Yuuji wants to think.

Yuuji immediately stood up and backed away, refusing to look Megumi in the eyes. "Oh wow haha! It's feelin' a little hot out here!" flapping the front of his hoodie as a sort of fan. "whelp I'm gonna go to the dorms! See ya Fushiguro!" he said as he sped walk past Megumi, then the others. raising his arm to wave to the others as a signal that he's going to leave

A little hot? He's basically sweating bullets at this point.

Yuuji Itadori had alot of friends, everytime he interacted with someone he would always have a fun time talking to them. So maybe yeah, one good interaction with someone made him think: yeah! they're definitely a friend of his! Yuuji was popular at school so alot of people wanted a chance to talk to him, he didn't mind all of the attention he was receiving, he enjoyed it actually.

Though he didn't like the attention when a girl who he'd thought just wanted to be friends with him to just suddenly ask him out even though they met like a day or two ago, or when a guy comes to him asking to join his team club and ditch the club he was currently in. I mean, sure, he was flattered that somebody liked him romantically or when some dude needed him to join their team simply cause Yuuji was very athletic.

I mean, he wasn't one to judge. That sort of thing is normal, maybe he felt selfish a few times in his head and maybe that's what friends do for each other so he should've just said yes. But in all honesty he wasn't really close to alot of people. People just wanted to date him or get him in their team. but that's probably him thinking the wrong way? Yuuji was sorta dumb, maybe very dumb. So sometimes he couldn't tell if someone actually WANTED to be his friend. Sure he said he had loads of friends, but did those people think like that about him too?

So yeah, maybe all the attention he gets isn't all that great. Not that he has any right to complain though. But just the tiniest bit of clarification, just a tiny piece of it, would keep him at ease.

"ughhh... why did i ask such a stupid question?" Yuuji silently said to himself as he lazily walked inside his dorm room and closed the door behind him "Soooo stuppiddd!" pulling on his hair out of cringe and slops on his bed then getting his phone out of his pocket

"whatever ill just check out instagram." turning on his phone to see he has a text
