Daily Prophet adalah koran yang dibaca oleh penyihir, dan berada di London.
Barnabas Cuffe adalah editor Daily Prophet memunculkan gambar. Karena kemampuannya untuk mempengaruhi banyak pemikiran penyihir Inggris, daily prophet dikenal memunculkan konten 'miring' yang disengaja oleh Kementerian Sihir. Dan katanya, daily prophet tampaknya tidak memiliki banyak integritas jurnalistik. Dalam beberapa kasus, Kementerian Sihir bergantung pada Daily Prophet untuk meyakinkan masyarakat. Setelah Cornelius Fudge dipaksa untuk mengakui bahwa Voldemort telah kembali, koran ini langsung berubah dalam semalam menyebut Harry sebagai "suara tunggal kebenaran". Surat kabar itu bahkan membeli berita dari The Quibbler tentang wawancara Harry pada kembalinya Voldemort.
