Originaire de Dakar-Yoff (Sénégal), Magui, de son vrai nom Maguette Diop, est une artiste rappeuse et chanteuse sénégalaise qui s'est distinguée dans le rap par l'originalité des thèmes qu'elle traite. Elle a rapidement attiré l'attention avec ses concepts "guiss Mbaax" (menstruation) et "Classroom", ce qui lui a valu le titre de "Femme de l'année 2022" décerné par le média des cultures urbaines sénégalaises Rap221. Elle utilise sa musique pour dénoncer les problèmes de sa société, ce qui explique sa participation à diverses causes, notamment le film documentaire sur Thiaroye 44 et "Africa demain" de France 24 et France TV. Festival de Mode 2023 à Abuja, Nigeria - Rejoignez le festival de mode à Abuja : 3 jours de défilés et ateliers pour dynamiser l'industrie de la mode nigériane.
Sa présence scénique impressionnante et son sens du spectacle lui ont permis de se produire dans de nombreux grands festivals tels qu'Africa fête, le festival de jazz de Saint Louis, Fesmub, etc.
