Why Buy a 3 Wheeler Buggy?
A three-wheeled buggy is a great option for those who like a morning run. They have larger wheels that give a smoother drive, but they can be bulkier and require a larger car boot.
If you plan to take your pushchair outdoors you should consider models that have air-filled tires (also known as pneumatic). They can take on any terrain and include a a front wheel that can lock to provide greater stability.
What is a 3 wheeler buggy?
A 3-wheeled buggy is a ideal choice for off-roading, or for navigating around town. They are easy to handle and change direction on the fly, passing all tests of stability. The sling seat made of fabric is set in a snug place inside the frame, not on top as modular seats. This design results in a lower center of gravity, which makes it easier to push your buggy. Mountain Buggy(r) comes with an innovation that is unique sport verso(tm) which is a three-wheeled inline chassis. It can be used as a parent-facing infant carrier or a toddler ride-on board.
Are you planning to go "off-road"?
For those that like to go on adventures and get off the beaten path it's essential that your buggy is able to be able to handle rough terrain. You need a good suspension to absorb bumps and large wheels with air-filled tyres for great grip on difficult terrain. A lockable wheel in the front is an excellent feature for stability when jogging on rough surfaces.
MFM reviewer Kath really put this fun-loving buggy to the test when driving it across rough dirt, cobbles, and grass tracks with her newborn and three year old. She said "it tackled everything with ease, and was even pleasant to jog with. The rear wheels of 16 inches and the lockable'swivel' wheel on the front offer great stability when working off road paths or uneven surfaces. Additionally, the tyres have built-in suspension for a smooth ride."
Sport verso is another world first. It's a brilliant single buggy, but it can easily be adapted to accommodate two (or more!) Once your family expands, you can use the same buggy. The fabric sling seat fits comfortably inside the frame at the perfect height for optimal weight distribution, immediately giving you a much more comfortable push, a less hefty curb pop and better ability to maneuver across any terrain.
Are you looking to 'go out and about Do you want to 'go around town'?
A three-wheeler has a single wheel at the front and two wheels at the rear. Based on the model, either the wheel is free to rotate or it can be locked, so that the buggy is able to be driven in straight lines. They are simple to drive and maneuver and often have air-filled tyres and suspension to provide comfortable riding. Pushchairs And Prams are ideal for everyday use in the city and are able to handle kerb-popping and taking off road.
However, as with any buggy, it's important to drive them responsibly and to not be distracted by tablets, mobile phones or other electronic device. Avoid driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs because it can influence your judgement and reaction time. Be sure to check the footprint of your buggy after it is fully folded to ensure that it can fit inside your vehicle.
If you are seeking a buggy to take you from the parks to the shops, you should look for one that has a large shopping basket, a robust brake pedal, and a large sun canopy (50plus inches in diameter) with an extendable pole. MFM reviewer Kath loved the sling made of fabric with an automatic lie-flat bed for newborns. She also liked the seating was placed perfectly within the frame to ensure a good weight distribution. However, she noted that a 4-wheeler would have more storage space.
Do you want to go 'in the park Do you want to go 'in the park'?
With the incredible maneuverability this fun lovin' 3-wheeler has to offer it is ideal for urban adventures too. MFM reviewer Kath put it to the test and discovered it could navigate grass, cobbles, and bumpy pavements easily. It also was able to take on the kerbs in town, since the seat sling is positioned snugly within the frame at a perfect height to distribute weight.
This model is great for jogging as it can be fitted with lockable swivel wheels on the front and has a'snug & stretch' tyre that gives an extremely smooth ride when you're pounding the pavement. The only downside with the large wheels is it isn't easy to fold down into smaller spaces. Luckily, it comes with impressive storage options to make up for this! There's a large basket and an opening pocket with zips on the back.
