The Mahindra Group has marked its entry into the Higher Education sector with the inauguration of a premier Engineering establishment - "Mahindra Ecole Centrale" (MEC). This is in collaboration with Ecole Centrale Paris, and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad. The Hon'ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh, Shri E.S.L. Narasimhan, unveiled the ceremonial plaque along with Vineet Nayyar, Chairman - Board, Mahindra Ecole Centrale, C. P. Gurnani, Board Member, Mahindra Ecole Centrale, at the newly-built campus at Hyderabad, within the presence of Ecole Centrale’s representatives and the Consul General of France in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh and Dr Rameshwar Rao, Vice-Chancellor, JNTU(H).

Mahindra Ecole Centrale will present apprenticeship with collaboration from the trade, concentrate on humanities, international publicity and allied schooling to develop a ‘'hole-brain method' to business."
The establishment shall be dedicated to providing world-class infrastructure to help a powerful research vision in the thrust areas such as Energy, Environment, Communications, Infrastructure, Transportation, Materials, and Defense.
Mahindra Ecole Centrale will make use of nationwide and international college who work on the frontiers of educational enquiry and comply with the developments of the real world so as to educate college students to become experts in their disciplines.
