ITC’s e-commerce platforms offer a wider range of choices to consumers, including premium brands. In a way, they help the company increase sales by offering more attractive price and packaging options.
Traders are building long or bullish positions in ITC’s February futures as it posted strong results and benefited from no change in cigarette taxes in the budget last week. This coupled with the expectation of a strong earnings season could push the stock up, analysts say.
A big indicator of a stock’s value is its return on equity, or ROE. It tells investors how efficiently a company is reinvesting its profits. The higher the ROE, the better. A higher ROE means that a company is putting its shareholders’ money to work and generating an attractive return on investment.
