Candidate Liang Chenxi, No.507874, was doing listening part 4 and met the technical issue, in BJ-BRS-CD dated 18-Nov-2023. The computer screen was frozen while the audio was going on, which was like a delay on the system. When the test taker input words, the system need a time to reflect. The supervisor asked CC and received respond to rewind the audio, and as the past experience that if we rewind the audio, the system will not stop with the audio end but stop at the original time. We gave the candidate extra time for 4 minutes to avoid that problem happened again and after listening part finished, we changed the test taker's seat (for the first time). During the reading part, this test taker reported to us the technical issue again and the issue had been lasted for a few minutes. After paused, we changed the seat again (second time) and we found the explaining video (40 seconds) could take the test time of reading part. So, the test taker could not finish the last few answers. The writing part was not influenced. After the written test finished, we try to communicate with the test taker. We were noted that there were amount of notetaking happened during the listening and reading part.

Candidate Li Hui (507895) was wearing an electronic watch into the test room, during and after the instructional scripts reminded that test takers were not allowed to take any electronic devices into the test room. Before the listening test started, the supervisor found the watch and collected it when the test taker was watching system Readiness check video. And we told the test taker that this behavior could be reported, and it would be possible to influence the test results. The test taker explained that she forgot to take it off and didn't pay attention to the instructional scripts.

Candidate 507876, 507899, 507897 were suffering the technical issues during watching the readiness check video in BJ-BRS-CD, dated November 18th, 2023. Their seats were changed, and they continued the test.
