Thor (Movie Review) residence
The mighty god of thunder returns in this third installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As he prepares to ascend to the throne of Asgard, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) lashes out in anger when the Frost Giants invade his kingdom in violation of their treaty. He reacts with brutality and his father Odin banishes him to Earth with out his powers in punishment. After a stint on Earth and studying humility, grace, and selflessness via his love for scientist Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), Thor returns home to search out he must struggle for the folks of Asgard and for his rightful place as king.


Thor's banishment from Asgard was a consequence of his arrogance and overreaction to the Frost Giants in violation of their long-standing peace with the Asgardians. Kids will enjoy the action and humor, and adults will respect its deeper themes of humility and family..
