as i’m writing this, it’s five hours and counting until you’re officially twenty-two where i live. wow. you’ve grown up so much from the sixteen year old boy i fell in love with on the x factor. i hope that today/tomorrow is good to you; you deserve to have a birthday as wonderful as the one it’s celebrating. you’ve done so much for us over the years, and i’m so proud to have been here with you for so long! i hope that you’re doing well on the break, so far; hopefully you’re eating well and sleeping well and making sure to treat your body like it deserves – you don’t deserve anything less than being happy and healthy.
i want to say thank you, harry, for being here for us for so long. you’re my rock, my sunshine, my moonlight, everything that is good and pure in the world. i don’t know where i’d be without you, harry, but it wouldn’t be a happy place. you’ve saved my life time and time again, and if i told you thank you for the rest of my life it wouldn’t be enough.
you mean so much to so many people. my twitter timeline is full of people saying how much they love you, how much you mean to them, wishing you a happy birthday. it’s beautiful, really, to see so many people connecting over their love for you. i’ve made so many friends – and met my boyfriend – because of you. people find and make these lifelong connections purely because of their love for you. that’s so amazing, that you do that for people; thank you so much for it.
i hope you’re spending your day with people you love, and who love you back, in a place that you feel happy. you deserve the entire world, and i only hope that you’re getting it every single day.
in short, harry, i hope you have an amazing birthday spent with people who treat you like the wonderful person you are. here’s to the last twenty-two incredible years, and to all of the ones to come.
