Typhoon Yolanda, also known as Haiyan, is a devastating typhoon that has devastated several regions of our country. There are numerous factors that influence the quantity of typhoons on the planet. Typhoons have an impact on the environment as well as on people. And as students, there are things we can do to help lessen the impact of the typhoon.

Warm oceans, wind shear, and deforestation are all factors that contribute to the Earth's multiple typhoons. First factor is warm oceans, warm waters cause increased evaporation and precipitation. Because the oceans are evaporating, there are more typhoons than ever before. Second factor is wind shear,

Based on the video, typhoon Yolanda impacted many individuals and structures; here are the typhoon's effects. A lot of structures are destroyed because of the hurricane. People are homeless because their shelters have been damaged by trees that collapsed. They have lost loved ones as well because they drowned in the flood, and some are missing. They are unable to communicate with their families in different places because there isn't any signal at their current location. And lastly, individuals doesn't have enough food and water to consume.

As a student, we can do a lot of things to mitigate the impact of the typhoon. The first way is to educate yourself about typhoons. We have been learning  about what we're supposed to do before, during, and after the storm. The second step is to get ready. Always keep a food and first aid supplies in your emergency bag. The third step is to migrate. Try to look for an evacuation center before the storm so that we are prepared to evacuate at any time. The fourth step is become conscious. Always pay attention and read weather-related news. The fifth step is to stop littering. Let us dispose of our garbage in appropriate places . Because the drainage  would be clean, the possibility of flooding will be reduced.
