Today I want to introduce one food from my country and later I'll explain why you should buy it.

A pączek is a deep-fried piece of dough and filled with jam or other sweet filling. Pączki are usually covered with powdered sugar, icing, glaze or bits of dried orange zest. A small amount of alcohol is added to the dough before cooking; as it evaporates, it prevents the absorption of oil deep into the dough.
What makes pączki different from similar products from other countries is that pączki are made from especially rich dough.

They feature a variety of fruit and creme fillings and can be glazed, or covered with granulated or powdered sugar. To the most common fillings belong chocolate, advocaat and different kinds of jam. There are also many different flavours so everyone can find what they like.

Our pączki are so good that In my country we also have a day in February called Fat Thursday and traditionally it is a day dedicated to eating, when people meet in their homes or cafés with their friends and eat large quantities of sweets and cakes. The most popular dish served on that day are pączki. According to statistics, each Polish person eats 2.5 Polish donuts on Fat Thursday, and the total number of pączki sold on that one day is 100 million so it shows that everyone likes them.

Why you should buy them?
First of all, they have exceptional taste. Once you try it, you will want to buy more and more.
Low price - depending on the type it can cost between 7rmb and 16rmb so the price is also very good.
Unlike American doughnuts, paczki don’t have a hole so you can have more of this delicious food for a similar price.
