How Do Man Down Devices Work?
A Lone Worker Man Down Alarm will notify emergency contacts if a lone worker has fallen or become injured.

A Man Down Device works by using a sensor which may detect a change in position, lack of movement or sudden impact. If this happens, a notification can be sent to your lone workers’ employers to let them know that someone needs help.

It can also be set up to send a Man Down Alert to an Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) in the event that no response is received from the lone worker. safety at heights These ARCs are staffed by security professionals who will receive the alert, attempt to reach out to the user and organise a response if necessary.
