There are few existing studies that explore the grief and parenting experiences of widowed women in the Philippines. So, this study holds immense importance to different aspects such as mental health professionals and educational institution. But in this presentation, we will focus more on these aspects:
First is the widowed mothers, The study can strengthen widowed mothers by gaining a deeper understanding of their grief journey and the experiences. The study's findings can be used to develop solutions to assist bereaved moms in sustaining successful parenting habits, therefore favorably benefiting their children's well-being and development.
Second is the families of widowed, Understanding the dynamics of bereaved families helps us gain a better understanding of family resilience and the elements that influence effective adaptation to big life events.
third is the field of social psychology, by this study, we can contribute to the creation of effective therapies and community resources that address the psychological needs of widows.
lastly, the future researchers, we aim to establish a solid foundation for future academics interested in investigating the psychological elements of widowhood. by this, future researchers can expand upon this study to investigate the intergenerational impacts of widowhood within households
